Location: It is SO far away from Punta Cana airport. Make sure that you have the transport from airport to hotel included. We had to pay US 120 for a taxi
We had a good experience. The hotel is beautiful and everything went perfect except for 2 things: 1. We got sick and the hotel has not doctor....very bad situation if something serious happens. 2. It is very far from airport and had to pay a taxi us120 just one way....too expensive!

Beautiful Beach! Great for Families.Posted Jul 12, 2014
We enjoyed our stay - the staff is super friendly, food was great and the beach and pool were perfect. The beach has very little waves and they had special meals every other day there (the paellas were amazing!) The evening entertainment and day time activities were fun as well. a couple of things to note: there are specialty restaurants that require a reservation - Japanese, Mexican and a lobster and meat restaurants. Take advantage. The bad- wifi is free but only in the lobby (and it drops alot), we ended up paying for the Internet; and the lobby doesn't have a non smoking area so we had a hard time finding a place we could "breathe" (my son has asthma) but regardless of.that fact smokers should have their area!

WonderfulPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Size was just right
Cons: Cooling in the rooms could be better. Cleanliness fo the pool could be better
Location: Went to Santo Domingo - beautiful and interesting. Did 2 dives and the reefs there are just OK. Wish we had gone to the wrecks sites instead.
Just got back from a week at this property. We typically do this type of trip once a year and this was one of the nicest. The facility is just the right size - big enough to have all of the expected amenities and small enough that it was not a trek from the beach to the lobby area. The staff were great and put us in Building 4 as requested. The food was better than usual and varied enought that everyone was happy and never bored with the choices. I liked that the entertainment staff was present but never pushy. The shows at night were pretty good and entertaining. We will be back

Beautiful ResortPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Beautiful, friendly staff, plenty to do, food available all the time, restaurant choices
Cons: It was sweltering hot and the only well air conditioned space is your room, and maybe the late night lounge. Needs more air conditioning!!!!!
Location: Nothing really in walking distance. Plenty of excursions, some pretty pricey.
This is a great resort that was clean and well run. The staff was amazing. We were on a first name basis with many staff members within 24 hours. The facilities are beautiful and there is plenty to do. The food was mostly very good and some just ok/good. We ate at 3 of the 4 specialty restaurants, and they were all good. I would have preferred the pool to stay open later than 7pm, as well as an outdoor bar. Having to go to the lobby bar for drinks past 6pm was disappointing. The shows are kind of cheezy but that is what we expected. It was VERY HOT, and air conditioning was really only available in your room. Great spot for a family vacation.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 26, 2014
Only three things that could be improve: the mattress was a little bit too soft for me, the air condicioner was a little bit too noisy at night and the gym was close too early. The hotel was very beatiful, the rooms were big and nice, the garden was amazing. The restaurants and the food was really good and the staff was just the best, always trying to help and smiling all the time. Very nice!

Great resort!Posted Jun 19, 2014
Cons: The pool itself could be updated, you could tell it needed a little love as it was showing wear and tear.
Location: We didn't leave the resort, there was no need too!
I would like to start this review out with we really enjoy going to all-inclusive resorts where we don't have to worry about anything. This place was phenomenal! We've stayed at Sandals in the past and I have to say, the Iberostar blew them out of the water! Everything was excellent! The food was fantastic, always fresh, always flavorful and I had nothing i didn't like. From the buffet to the al a cart restaurants, there are 0 complaints. The staff was warm and always smiling. Everyone said hola when they saw you. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The beach was fantastic and there were plenty of chairs, we always were able to find chairs to relax on both at the pool and the beach. I highly recommend this resort if you want to enjoy great food, a beautiful beach, a nice pool area and time to relax.

All drinks, All food, Snorkeling, Beautiful Beach!Posted May 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a fabulous time. The only thing I wish is that there was one restaurant open all the time for food. There was always somewhere that was open, but I couldn't remember which place was open at each time, so we would walk to various locations looking for food only to find ind it closed.

Exceeded expectationsPosted May 11, 2014
This was our 4th stay at an Iberostar, definately our favorite of all. Stayed 12 days. Perfect size, nothing too far apart. Room was close to beach and pool, very clean and well-kept. No bugs in room at all. Laid back, quiet atmosphere, perfect for couples. Nice garden pathways. Friendly staff. Definately not a party resort, very nice ambiance at night. They do have nightly shows and music in the lobby, games by pool, beach bbqs if you wanted some fun. Michael Jackson show was really good. Beautiful sandy beach, were able to get a palapa by ocean every morning. Pool was large, very nice with swim up bar. No top shelf alcohol, so drinks were a bit rough. My boyfriend went on 3 dives with Dressel's (on site)-saw lots of fish and enjoyed the wreck dives. Good reputable dive shop. Overall buffet food was decent, the Steakhouse was fabulous. La Colonial was a bit fancy, but had amazing grilled lobster (for no upcharge). Had a lovely massage behind the beach shops (at 1/2 price of resort spa). This resort is a safe choice, we were very happy with most everything. Would go back.
