Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - Luxury All Inclusive

The property was wonderful and the grounds were very nice. Food was very good for an all inclusive. Staff were everywhere to handle all your needs. Our butler Dario was the best and always smiling. The AC in the room was bad and when we called to get it fixed they just came in and adjusted the vents. A little humid in July, but the beach and the water were perfect. All in all a wonderful 4 day weekend with very little flaw.

The hotel is quite new and beautiful. We went to the same place 2 years ago and since last time, we noticed a few things here and there that stopped working or whose wear and tear has become quite obvious. It would be a shame not to keep it up properly, because it is a gorgeous hotel with beautiful, spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and cheerful and it is a pleasure to spend your day on its premises. The food was very good quality and plentiful and so were the drinks.

The hotel and staff were great! The weather and beaches were beautiful but...we were so sick the whole time! We were trying our hardest to avoid everything that could make us sick but it seemed almost impossible. Most other travelers had the same issues but came prepared and we didn't. You have to brush your teeth with bottled water and only eat pre-packaged foods. Other than the illness issue, the trip was good.

Hotel staff were incredibly personable and helpful, rooms were spacious, up-to-date, and very comfortable. Amenities were awesome, as we did the Elegance Club with our stay. However, I would not be able to recommend this resort to anyone as the food here is absolutely terrible. It is almost, but not quite, inedible. Unfortunately this meant that our stay was not as we had hoped. One exception was the Limited Gourmand restaurant, which required a reservation, and had decently palatable food. Drinks are plentiful, but stay away from any cocktail that requires real juice (orange juice, cranberry, etc) because they refuse to use real juice.

I loved the the pleasing staff, the food, and entertainment. I was not happy about wi fi internet not being included you have to pay extra for it or you will be disconnected from the world, the staff are great but exploited I asked several of them about their work shift and I was amazed they can keep a happy face and please all of us with a 12 straight work days and 10 hours shift with 3 days off. Other than that had the best time ever.

We stayed a Majestic Elegance June 1st-8th. The trip was overall an excellent trip. We stayed in the Elegance Club which was very relaxing and I would recommend to anyone traveling without children. We were able to check -in early on our day of arrival. The room wasn't ready immediately but in the downtime we were able to go have lunch at the main buffet. Our butler was very pleasant and helpful getting us settled in our room. The room was very clean and we had no problems getting clean towels or supplies. The mini bar was restocked every morning, we even received extra water as requested. The pool area and beach were both very relaxing. We did not get to the beach until after 10 most days and were always able to find a spot on the Elegance Club beach. It was frustrating that some people would go out early and reserve chairs and not even arrive on the beach till late afternoon. I think the hotel tried to prevent this but it was difficult to tell if someone was reserving chairs or if they were just out in the water. The bar service on the beach was excellent. We only did the snorkeling as far as beach water activities went and that was enjoyable. We enjoyed the variety of food selection at the various restaurants. We never had problems making reservations and were able to eat at every establishment. The service at the restaurants was also excellent and the staff was pleasant. Spa facilities were very nice and the massages were great.

I had a geat time there was always something to do. List of entertainment. Especially the group of Kids that entertained you.

The noise. The bed The moldy smell. Stay away! The pluses were the pool, beach and price.

This hotel is huge and is close to the beach and has tons of swimming pools. I would suggest upgrading to the Elegance Club as you get access to private bars and swimming area. Your butler will also book your reservations for you and the staff is extremely friendly. The food was just ok. The breakfast was good and lunch and dinner was just ok. I am not sure if it was the drinking we were doing or the food but my husband and I had upset stomachs the last couple of days and nights we were there. The drinks were good, I would suggest bring your own cup with a lid as the cups they use are small (try a dirty banana!)
