Beautiful Hotel by the Beach

Posted Jan 25, 2015
I have stayed at other hotels in DR and was reluctant to try the Melia, but after some friends recommend for me to try the Level I did and I don't regret my decision. The Level is an upgrade to the Melia and there is an adults only section which was great. The hotel is huge and the transportation to the main hotel is slow but available. The food was amazing and the pool and beach access was great as well. The room was clean, but the bathrooms should be updated. That being said I recommend this hotel.

Close to the beach

My room was very close to the beach and pools. The food was ok and transportation around the complex was a bit slow. The staff were great and couldn't do enough.

Beautiful Resort & Friendly People

Posted Jan 20, 2015
The grounds are gorgeous. The gardening and grounds keepers are always busy at work to maintain the beautiful landscape. The entire staff from cleaning ladies to entertainment staff are wonderful! The resort is large but I liked it because it never felt crowded. Restaurants are great we tried all of them and they were lovely. Beach is gorgeous, not rough at all. Great for kids too. Seaweed was minimal. We didn't stay in the level because our kids came along with us but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything by not upgrading. We stayed in the family suite building 3. Perfectly located next to the pool, beach and agora restaurant. We can't wait to go back. Loved the resort!

Great Vacation

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: Thai food is amazing
Cons: Reduce golf cart rate and improve Wifi signal
Location: Lots of activities to do. We were part of a group and enjoyed very much the ATV adventure.
We stayed at the Level adults only resort. Wonderful, fun and great all around: Beach, pool, food, drinks, staff (Tip them even tho tipping is included), room, restaurants, bars, transportation within resort, facilities, golf, weather, price. I am sure I forgot a few good things. Unforgetable experience. However, small cons : 1) Beach has some seaweed. 2) Wifi is weak. 3) $75 is steep for a cart fee to play golf.
