Beautiful Hotel close to the beach!Posted Jul 27, 2015
We had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly. We figured out quick that you need to tip to get the best service and not everything is included in the all inclusive. We payed extra $$$ for the Passion restaurant and it was the worst food we ate on the whole trip. Stick to the free restaurants. The Blue Agave was awesome but make sure to get reservations. The check in and check out process could be better. There is only 2 people there and it takes a while. We ended up getting charged too much at check out and the language barrier made it hard to get the situation figured out. I highly recommend you keep ALL your paperwork with the prices on it to have at check out. We ended up paying over $100 more than we should but we just paid so we could get to the airport. Also watch out for the excursion people. Make sure you are getting EXACTLY what you are looking for. We had an excursion not show up to pick us up. We did get our $ back and the guy got us a different excursion for free with another company. Our concierge Reyna was amazing and helped us out a lot. She made our reservations for us and helped us with any questions we had. We also did the spa and it was amazing. (HIGHLY RECOMMEND but use a voucher) All in all a great trip. They all work very hard to make sure the grounds are nice and that the visitors are happy. If you want or need something, just ask!

Beautiful pools and a stunning beach!!Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: - Pools - Cleaniness - Beach - Room - Bars and Entertainment inside the Resort
Cons: - FOOOOOD! - Staff treatment or Customer Service... Some staff lack of friendliness
Well I have been in others All Inclusives and this one was amazing! It has a lot of big and amazing pools, the best I have been in an All Inclusive, but the best of all is the beach, Bávaro Beach is one of the best beaches in the whole world and this Resort is in there!! so you can imagine how awesome it is!!! the sand is like flour! Room was big and very comfortable and cold! I really liked that! What I really didn't like was 2 things: most of the staff was not very friendly and I don't know it's like they are not interested to help you, and the other thing was the food, was an average food, some dishes weren't good...

Punta Cana HoneymoonPosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: The room, the service, the views of the ocean. The restaurants, the staff, the pool, the beach.
Cons: The casino was way to small for this impressive hotel. 2 tables and only like 6 slot machines. Saw more machines at McDonald's in Vegas.
Location: Plenty of excursions. Free shuttle to the local mall 5 minutes away. Playa Macao beautiful beach 40 minutes north of hotel.
Had my wife pick out the hotels she was interested in to celebrate our honeymoon. She gave me 3 options from all the ones she looked at. I immediately chose this one based on other reviews and the photos. So glad we picked this one. The view when you arrive at the lobby is by far one of the best hotel views you will find in Punta Cana. We went on an excursion, and when we came back on our tour bus you could hear the other people talking about the hotels wow factor. I even had a lady ask if the service was as a great as it looked. Absolutely. The staff was amazing - the restaurants excellent - the VIP room upgrade was perfect. The pool was huge and never crowded.

beautiful resort helpful staff, very cleanPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: They work very hard to make your stay a pleasant Expience . Very interested in feedback on ways to improve.
Cons: Dinner reservations were difficult to get for the week we had to keep checking back everyday to confirm with the concierge.
Overall our stay was great. The resort was beautiful clean and Everyone was polite. There were plenty of activities and entertainment. they need to do a better job of letting the guests know what the activities and entertainment are on a daily basis for instance there was a beautiful beach party that we had no idea was happening we had other plans and didn't attend. We felt a little out of the loop. We were unable to swim in the ocean..they were experiencing seaweed problem there were piles of seaweed washing up on the shore the resort staff brought in many trucks to remove it but it seems they were fighting a losing battle. They told us this happens for about a month every year ... we were there early July I'm not sure if it happens the same time every year.

Beautiful Nicely Updated HotelPosted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: I loved the food and the numerous upgraded bars. Gabbi Beach Bar is a great time.
Cons: The beach. They tried like hell to get rid of the seaweed but it was unavoidable. I would guess it is the time of the year.
Location: Location is close to the airport and there are plenty of shopping places nearby.
Spent 6 days at this hotel with no problems really at all. The beach was full of a tremendous amount of seaweed and we had some issues getting clean towels. Other then that It was an awesome experience. The hotel is new and upgraded. The food is great with choices like new york strip and calamari for lunch. You cannot go wrong.

Nice hotel but Rooms dated, need some things fixedPosted Jul 7, 2015
Broken shower heads, whirl pool piece, draw handles. Probably just old. Time of year we went July, there was seaweed on the beach. Caribbean side of the ocean. Hotel grounds were really well maintained. Actually thought buffet was better than the restaurants. Consistent pressure to go to their special breakfast presentation where they try to sell you Melia membership. Overall still a good place.
