“Nice hotel that we will not rush back to.”
Hotel is very big, where you need to take a gold cart around the grounds. We stayed in the reserve part, which the only advantage was it's own pool and bar area. The food was average at best, and the drinks weren't too strong. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I would return except for the fact like I love to try new places.
“Wonderful few days! Just show up and relax as everything is taken care of for you in a perfect way!”
Great time .... Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful exotic getaway!
“GOOD - COULD BE BETTER”
MY WIFE AND I HAVE STAYED AT THE PARADISUS PUNTA CANA ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. OUR LAST VISIT WAS FROM OCT. 5TH THRU 9TH. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE VISITED DURING THE FALL - "OFF SEASON". IT WAS DISAPPOINTING. THEY HAD 2 OR 3 RESTAURANTS OPENING EACH EVENING, AND THE SAME BUFFET FOR LUNCH EACH DAY. THE FOOD WAS NOT UP TO PAR WITH WHAT WE EXPERIENCED DURING OUR MARCH OR APRIL VISITS. WE RECEIVED AN UPGRADE TO THE "RESERVE" AREA OF THE RESORT. IT WAS VERY NICE, BUT WE HAVE RECEIVED AS GOOD OR BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE STAYING THE STANDARD ROOMS. IN ADDITION THE RESERVE AREA IS LOCATED AWAY FROM THE BEACH AND MAIN RESTAURANT AREA - SO YOU ARE CONSTANTLY WAITING FOR A SHUTTLE OR WALKING TO AND FROM. LUNCH WAS DISAPPOINTING BECAUSE THEY DID NOT OPEN THE PALAPA GRILLE LOCATED DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH AT ALL DURING OUR STAY. ENTERTAINMENT AT NIGHT WAS PROVIDED IN THE LOBBY LOUNGE AREA. ONE NIGHT THE MUSIC FOR DANCING WAS WONDERFUL - THE REST OF THE EVENINGS I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY HAD IN MIND. OVERALL IT WAS A STRUGGLE TO WORK WHAT WAS OPEN, AND FINDING SUITABLE ADULT ENTERTAINMENT (DANCE MUSIC). FOR THE COST OF HAVING A SUITABLE DANCE BAND EVERY EVENING - (WHEN DANCE MUSIC IS PROVIDED THE DANCE FLOOR IS PACKED!) - I CAN'T UNDERSTAND MANAGEMENT'S PROBLEM. WILL ONLY RETURN DURING PRIME SEASON
“First visit to Punta Cana, but definitely not the last visit!!”
This was our first visit to an all-inclusive resort. The staff was very gracious and seemed to be available to satisfy our every need. The grounds were very well maintained and signage was helpful in navigating the area. Many options for activities besides beach and poolside were available. The choices of foods in the restaurants was teriffic.
“Excellent Resort”
I was really pleased with this resort, the staff, and facilities were extraordinary. However, the only area for considerable improvement is the food. Although edible, the food is not very enjoyable. Rather than try to be very gourmet, perhaps they should consider including some typical Dominican food as well.
“Can't wait to go back”
This vacation was very relaxing and the hotel made all the difference. Hotel staff was friendly but some did not speak english. Had to change my room three times in one day since the sink, shower and jacuzzi water was all brown. In one room the two tvs didn't work and had to be replaced so had to change another room. Overall the beach and pool was clean and can't wait to go back now.
“Great vacation! Definitely Recommend”
Great Resort. The accomodations were nice, worth the extra money for this nicer resort. All workers were friendly and eager to make one's stay pleasant. The beach was beautiful and clean. Knowing some Spanish is definintely helpful
“aneta”
I loved it, very nice place to be ;) I recommend this resort!!Very clean, its beautiful!!!Beach, bars, and pools are awesome!;)100% I will be back one day!!!
“It was so sad to leave!”
What an amazing time! We booked the Royal Service package, and although it was slightly more money than we wanted to spend, in the end it was worth it. I recommend it to anyone who goes there. The service was in fact "Royal", and the exclusive pool, beach, breakfast area, and everything else that was attached to it made our stay the most relaxing, stress-free experience we have ever had. Also, we don't have children, and the exclusive areas did not permit children so it worked out well for us (I have nothing against kids, just sometimes it could be a pain when you're trying to enjoy your vacation and other people's children are interfering). The staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. The room was beautiful and spacious, and we really loved the dual shower heads! The grounds of the resort were meticulously kept. Every morning they were out removing any seaweed from the beach! I truly have only fantastic things to say about Paradisus, and I can't wait to return there someday!
“Relaxing retreat”
Great time! We upgraded to Royal Service when we checked in thinking it would be better since it was just my husband and I. We later discovered that The Reserve has nicer/newer accommodations and has access to almost all of the same amenities. The con of the Reserve is location. It is located in the back portion of the resort away from most of the restaurants and the beach. They do provide transportation by way of trolley to the other areas of the resort. Royal Service has a private adults only pool, a separate area on the beach, and a private dining area offering buffet style meals, also included with royal service was priority dinner reservations. Royal service also included a private butler to assist you and provide transportation around the resort. It was nice but probably not worth the additional cost. The resort was not super busy so it made for a relaxing time. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating! The food was decent but not the greatest. Not much in the way of snacks offered during the day. Plenty of staff around the resort to help you out. Our only complaint was with being approached by people from outside companies trying to sell you either an excursion or timeshare, etc. We will definitely return in the future!
