First of all checking process should be smooth howeve, it took 30 minutes for them to check in two families. Upon checking we found a dead roach in our room as well as an old bottle of water and a dirty sock. We were promised that we were going to get a free spa treatment as a service recovery and nobody ever reached out to us regarding this. Overall property is nice but just needs better maintenance as well as cleanliness. One thing is for sure, we are not going to be back to this one again.

The staff at the property were amazing! This negative review has nothing to do with the people working at the property. The food and and drinks were awful at best. The rooms were old and dinge. The beach area is beautiful but not calm and not to safe to swim. I would describe this area of the island as the poor/ neglected area. Also if you do attend this resort be aware of them constantly trying to get you to sit through or sign up for their "membership" AKA timeshare. They were constantly pushing for you to sit through their membership informational lunch. Also they have a weird situation where you there is no food option from 5pm-730pm unless you have a reservation at one of the select restaurants which start at 6pm. I would NOT recommend this resort to anyone. This trip was definitely a huge disappointment. I feel awful stating this because I know the people working need these jobs. If you go to the Dr stay near the Bavaro Beach.

This was the worst stay I ever had in PUJ. I booked this hotel for a party of 12 including myself. Upon arrival we noticed the floor was dirty, cups/glass with drinks all over the lobby. We didn't make a big of that, we were there to have phone. Make it to my room Floor dirty, with hair all over the place. The mirrors in the room all smeared and fingerprints. Lipstick on one of the pillows. It took 4 calls for someone to show and clean our room. The very next day we spent hours with Expedia to get a refund. We moved from this hotel the very next day.

The beach, the pools, the rooms, the whole facility was clean and beautiful. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was good, lots of options. We really enjoyed the nightly shows at the theater that they put on. Overall we had a great time, and wish we could’ve stayed a couple more days!

Todo perfecto con excepción del àrea VIP donde fuimos invitados a un almuerzo para darnos un tour por el área y una mesera grito de una esquina a otra que no podiamos estar ahí que no nos sirvieran comida tremenda vergüenza pasamos. Todo el mundo se disculpó menos el gerente JOSEPH que entre dientes hizo un comentario y no dio la cara luego. NO ACEPTEN NINGÚN TOUR PARA QUE TE HAGAN PASAR UNA VERGUENZA Y TRATEN DE VENDERTE UN TIMESHARE. Sin embargo el resto del personal son increíbles. Nicole de check in, Karla, Judianne, Ada Joahnber y los chicos de la playa Uvero me trataron como reina.

I travel 4-5 times a year, and this hotel is one of three places where I would like to come back. Beach is gorgeous. Water is just perfect. Resort is beautiful and unreal clean. Food is delicious. I traveled with 7 y. o. twins. And I would say that the place made above and beyond to make them enjoy their stay. I can’t find the right words for Miss Sugar from the kid’s entertainment team. She is amazing!!!! Whatever she does, she does it perfectly! I could find small things that were bothered me, but they didn’t really affect our stay in this resort.

We had a wonderful family vacation. Brought 2 kids (9) and there was never a dull moment for them. Hotel was clean and there was always something good to eat at buffets. Japanese restaurant is a must for a fun and delicious dinner out. Beach was pristine. Only negative we found was that most of the pools were deep so bring pool floaties if you don’t want to swim the whole time you are in the water. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Entertainment in the lobby great. We would recommend to families

Our room was filled with roaches. Every night we had to deal with a roach infestation, from giant size to babies. My children were horrified and none of us could get a good nights rest. We complained every day but they did nothing but offer to fumigate our room. Not an option with 3 kids living inside. So disappointed with there unresponsive and unprofessional approach. All they needed to do was give us a new room. But all they kept doing was saying they were sorry for our troubles.

Came here for 3 nights and we were able to enjoy the full experience. Pool hours were great and right near the beach. We were able to enjoy a variety of restaurant options. Rooms were spacious and clean.

We had a great time as a family at the resort. The staff is exceptional. Everyone was helpful, friendly, & made it their duty to accommodate the guests. The kids services were wonderful especially the kids bar in the evenings. The staff is very attentive. My only advice to families is to upgrade to the larger family suite bedroom(s) if available. You'll appreciate the space.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well sound proofed. Beds were made and fresh towels were provided daily. There were many free activities for adults and children everyday. The pools and beaches were beautiful. Make sure you get out early to find a seat by the pool. The buffet was great 7/10. There were plenty of options and we did not go hungry. If you want to have a sit down dinner, make reservations on the first day of your trip or before. Everything you need is on site. If you decide to go on an excursion, there is opportunity for booking and pick up at the resort. The on-site waterpark needed some repairs and a lot of the bigger slides were closed. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Went with my 3 kids and wife over spring break so property was expectedly packed. Because it was peak season, we had to compromise on the place and price point that wouldn’t force me to sell our house. Overall, the place is ok. We loved the pools and beach. The water park was surprisingly really nice and fun. My son did the escape room twice and it was really well done. The food was very poor. Buffets were not good, poor selection, filthy, often out of items, and mostly unhelpful staff…although some were very good. Highly advise to skip buffet for dinners and go ala carte, which is better but still not great. We’re not food snobs but all of us were ready for a real meal when we got home. The staff was decent. Some good but many looked frustrated to be there and help. Getting drinks in general is a huge challenge. For the hundreds of workers there on the daily, for some reason they feel only having 3 bars and 3 bartenders by the pool and beach is enough, so there’s always a long line. Tips don’t get you any better service. Kind of what was expected for price point…some good lots of bad but honestly was a good time regardless.

I got to see many properties while in Punta Cuna. I highly recommend this property for entertainment, all you can eat food and drinks. Great for kids, families and couples! This property is very clean. Employees mop the entrance and to the beach daily, bathrooms always clean. I can not recommend this property enough! Staff is so sweet too!

The water slides are too rough. My 10 & 13 yo tried 2 slides then were done. The younger kids area looked awesome. The breakfast buffet and Steak House were the best food, the rest was below average. The French restaurant was awful! The property and beach are beautiful! We had a great time but would not return to this property.
