Family vacation with 2 small childrenPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The grounds, pool, restaurants, room.
We had a wonderful time at The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. The grounds and the room were simply stunning. The kids pool was a wonderful oasis of splash and fun. We felt safe and pampered at this resort. The buffet was fine. However, the food at all the restaurants (all included in the price) was amazing. The food was delicious, which is not what I expected from an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana. We will return.

Exceptional resort!Posted Jul 6, 2015
The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real is the best of both worlds. You still have access to the livelier Palma Real but get to come back to the calm paradise that is the Reserve. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Orlando, Yaneira, and Ruddy really made our stay better. The resort was very clean and pleasant. The only thing I had trouble with is restaurant reservations. Make sure you make those as soon as you arrive.

Great all-inclusive experience. Want to go back.Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Everything except reservation process for specialty restaurants. Beautiful place!
Cons: Reservation process for specialty restaurants was tedious and you need to book way in advance to get a good time.
Location: Close to mall, if you need anything, and free shuttle takes you within minutes. We took an excursion to Santo Domingo. I'd rate the excursion B-.
Stayed at the Reserve section of the resort, which allowed us to use facilities at both resorts. The resort was beautiful, staff was friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy. The food at the buffets was awesome. There was nothing bad to say about this place.

Very nice hotel, great ConciergePosted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Love the quiet and reserved pool at the Reserve. The pool area very quiet and relaxing, all the loungers very inviting to lay down and relax.
Cons: The pillows were cheap, ordinary. This needs to be improved, have down pillows, better quality. More entertainment shows at the Theater.
Location: The Reserve is not close to the beach, but the resort offer Golf carts to transport you to the beach and around the complex.
We have been in Punta Cana before and stayed on another Resort. The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real is great for families that are looking for a reserved experience. Our family enjoyed every minute, the hotel is a huge complex; very well kept and maintain. We stayed at the Reserve, Master suite with a Concierge. The room was very spacious for our family of four. The Concierge, Dalliance was awesome. He took care of the reservations for dinner for all a la carte restaurants,he checked on us every day, he went above and beyond to attend our needs. Our kids, 9 yrs old and 6 yrs old loved the pools, mainly the pool at the Reserve that was less crowded. I definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again, but only to stay at the Reserve as offer more privileges; like the pool area is empty, quiet and relaxing; the bars at the Reserve offer better quality of liquor. The food at the a la carte restaurant, were ok, nothing amazing. I would recommend Vento; the italian we had a very bad experience; the service was horrible and food took over 1 hr; very tiny portion. The buffet at Palma Real has a lot of options and variety.I just can say a big THANK YOU to our concierge Dalliance for all the attention he gave to our family and made our staying very pleasant.
