Pros: Food was ok. Staff was great.
Cons: The beach needs to be updated. To much garbage around the beach area.
The staff was very helpful and polite. The only issue we had was that we had problems using our phone in our room with a calling card. Also the sand at the beach area is not pleasing at all. Overall though, I was pleased with the hotel.

1.They Do not respect our rate got at Xpedia. 2. We arrived at 12 noon, but food was not able for customers until 3 pm. And no one tells you about it, till you´re at the hotel. 3.They do not have a good check in attention. 4.Our room had problems with the A/C, (a complete mess of water when we turned it off), they couldn´t fix it, just told us to keep it "on", so my family had a very cold night. 5. Response to our complains where so slow, we got to call many time for attention. 6. Food was ok, very similar every day. 7. Facilities are good. 8. Check out it´s a complete disorder.

Stayed the weekend with the All inclusive deal. Food, drinks, atmosphere was all great. A very organized team of employees that made sure everything was taken care of.

Pros: will not recommend to anyone
Cons: customer service, hospitality, greet guests with a cocktail (mimosa or island drink), punch, water, not a stale cookie
Location: the location is horrible, everything is either 1 hour or 3 hours away.
Went to CR for my 40th bday with a group of friends & never have I heard everyone had a problem either with the staff or with their rooms. Day 1 we were looking to transfer or leave. The staff wasnt happy so it reflected on their service. Waited for a cup of water at the restaurant for 30 minutes until you have to go get it urself, food was ok, nothing crazy, bathroom plumbing was not good, room stunk & had mold on the ceiling & walls & it looked as if they tried to paint over it to cover it up-----really??? the beach was disgusting, but it was rainy season so that typical. Bar had no premium liquor except Johnie Walker Red. We were disappointed but made the best out of it by taking day long tours & leaving the premises.

Pros: Only liked the pool and friendly staff
Cons: Maintenance, better entertainment and food
Location: Everything is far ... And what is nearby is the hospital and fruit stands
Hotel maintenance is very poor ... Nice pool but food and drinks HORRIBLE !!

The hotel is nice, ask for the newest rooms, the old ones are not that nice. The food could be better. Nice place for kids, nice pool.

Location: Nothing to do by hotel. Jaco beach about an hour away, but little improvement.
Food was average, drinks were weak. No hot water at times. Beach looked like crap, no one in water. Just a couple of staff people that seem to like there job.

I enjoyed my stay at this all inclusive resort. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. The food was good, not great, although the upscale dining alternative was very good. The shows at night were very entertaining. The only downside would be is that the beach this resort is located on can only be described as unremarkable. Overall a great value.

Cons: Hot tub wasn't hot
Location: Ok, but if you can find an all inclusive closer to the excursions you want to do that might be better.
While it's definitely not the nicest hotel/all-inclusive we have been too it was nice enough. If you don't plan on leaving the resort i would reccomend staying somewhere with more restaraunt options and a better beach. We weren't at the resort for almost 2 whole days so the 3 other days were just enough at the resort. The pool is great but there are definitely beautiful beaches to see in costa rica and this is not one of them. Hot tub was not hot. The food was all great but besides the buffet there were only 2 other dinner options and you can only eat in each 1 time. The hotel is 2-3 hours away from most excursions. The tour people were very helpful. Bedding/pillows were comfy. For the great price we paid it is what we expected, good but not great. P.S. NO MINI BAR IN ROOM! (not even bottled water).

As you noticed, the water temperature in the pool Jacuzzi was not high, because the concept is more the kind of an air tub designed to create a naturally relaxing experience while you enjoy the gentle effervescence of the air under our tropical sunny weather. We have another Jacuzzi with hot water in the Spa area, next time you visit us will be a pleasure to have you there.
