Punto Fijo is located some 240 miles (386 kilometers) from Caracas, the national capital.
The area around Punto Fijo is crisscrossed with natural and cultural attractions, from firmly-established, must-see spots to hidden gems that lay slightly off the beaten path.
Coro, is another good place to discover. It is about 40 miles (64 kilometers) from Punto Fijo and offers a diverse range of visitor attractions, such as Coro Cathedral, San Clemente Church and San Francisco Church. Be sure not to return to Punto Fijo until you've stopped by Coro's Museo de Arte de Coro and Medanos de Coro National Park.
