Could have been much better
We found this hotel very basic and dated. There was no parking available on site, we had to find an alternative to the carpark offered as our car wouldn’t fit in. The microwave fused after one use. The air con didn’t work. The location was good, right in the centre of town

My reservation was for a double bed and I got 2 single NARROW beds. The beds were creaking. I chose this hotel because on the website you can select if you want smoking room or non smoking. There are actually no smoking rooms in this hotel!!

Unfortunately a poor experience. The man who checked us in shouldn’t be in the hospitality business. He was cold and when we asked for directions to a laundromat he begrudgingly and very vaguely marked an arrow down a main avenue on a map. There was no WiFi. It was dingy. People smoked right below our balcony. Noisy boulevard-people yelling at night. I changed hotels for the same price and glad to have done so. The original price didn’t include a private bathroom.

I didn't have a phone to contact the hotline and get into my room, around midnight I had to walk to the nearest hotel and spend an extra 250 euros just so I didn't sleep on the sidewalk. I also tried to cancel my reservation immediately after booking but the site kept redirecting me to the main page. Overall experience was terrible and will not use Hotels.com in the future.

Excellent facilities in the apartment. Kitchen was small but fully equipped to make ourselves breakfast every day. Close walk to everything in the downtown area and very safe and quiet. Not the most modern hotel I've stayed in but more than adequate and would certainly consider staying here again.

Stayed here for the 2nd time. Spent 10 days riding bike in Pyrenees and sightseeing. Close to other destinations like Biarritz...a must see! Comfortable rooms, air conditioned and friendly staff who can give u advice on what to see.

Great location, convenient amenities
The hotel was definitely adequate for our needs, and had an ideal location. We stayed one night and wanted to be close to the city center as well as the train station. The room was basic, with a small kitchenette that had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed to make a quick meal in the room. The bathroom had a heated towel rack which was a bonus, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Early check in was not an option, we arrived before the 3 pm check in time and found that the hotel office was actually closed until 3. We also had to park a good distance from the hotel, as the streets of city center are pedestrian only and you can only drive to the hotel with a code you receive after check in. After check in we got to drive in and drop off our bags before returning the rental car. Hotel parking seemed limited so book with the room if you need it. Overall, the rooms were clean, air conditioned, well stocked, and check out was a breeze in the morning before we caught the train. I would stay again.

Great location
Positive: location, nice staff, spacious and clean. And a little kitchenette (only used the fridge). Negative: walls scruffy in places, roof windows so couldn't see out, sluggish shower. I thought my travelling companion was getting a double sofa bed but it was a single camp bed. A nice camp bed but the sofa was more solid so he slept on that. Also, why no door on the bedroom? For privacy and so you aren't kept awake by travelling companion snoring...

This is a good option if you would like to have a kitchenette. The rooms are very small but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. They don't provide regular housekeeping and we had to hunt down clean towels and extra toilet paper.

Central hotel with good facilities
went to Pau for Rugby match - this apartment hotel worked well - central so we could walk out for meals/drinks, and there is a Monoprix around the corner for supplies to go in the apartment. Very good breakfast, friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy surrounds and apartment. The OH loved the bed - slept like a baby! Well-equipped kitchenette.

First visit to Pau for a rugby match . The hotel served as well. We travelled by public transport and was an easy walk from station. Self catering so the Monoprix round the corner served us well.

Great loacation in city center. Close to shopping and sight seeing. A little tricking parking but once u get it its good. Staff friendly. Will definetly be back next year. A Beintot!

Would not recommend to Anyone as for Breakfast always run out of drink, cups tables different foods quick to take you money but don't expect anything better to go down town to a coffee shop No tea towels Ran out of toilet paper, empty soap container . Old dish spong need to be replace we were their 4 days if had not been pre paid and with a group would have moved on

This was an unexpected stay for me after some car trouble. Perfectly located in the center. Parking for a fee or a short walk from free parking at Place Verdun. The bed was very comfortable though the bathroom and shower are certainly no frills. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Not a romantic hotel though, best for business or convenience of course.

The hotel is nicely located in the city center. Just a short walk from the main bus station, shops, restaurants, cinema, and other tourist sites. I read about check in difficulties outside reception hours so I requested for the details prior to my arrival so I was able to get in but I found my room was still occupied and had to wait for several hours for the previous occupant to leave and for housekeeping to clean up the mess. It is also important to know that it is not your typical hotel so don't expect daily housekeeping. If you need your room cleaned daily you'll need to request for and pay extra for it. That been said, the room was small but comfortable enough, had the option to cook, the internet was fast, and the receptionists were helpful. Overall, I would recommend this place for a medium to long term stay but if you're looking for a nice hotel to relax for a few days look elsewhere.

It was the perfect place to spend a couple of nights in the centre of Pau but it would have been better had they offered Wi-Fi. There was wired ethernet but this is no use to a traveller with a smart phone.

Perfect location/ helpful staff
The apartment hotel is right on a busy pedestrian mall, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The manager spoke English and was very helpful. It should be made clear that the office is only manned during certain hours, not 24/7. Had we arrived an hour later it would have been impossible to check in. We did not have free wifi for the first two days because they did not have enough hardware devices for every unit. Also, sets of towels do not include wash cloths. None of the cooking pans had lids. The friendly, helpful staff, great location, and secure feeling of the neighborhood more than made up for these minor inconveniences.
