Great hotel - once we found it!

This is a nice little hotel, clean and pretty much in the heart of Vielha. Staff were lovely. The only negative was that it took us two hours to find once we arrived in Vielha! The hotel and street didn't exist in our GPS and when we resorted to actual GPS coordinates they were wrong. In the end the tourist information office gave us directions but neglected to mention the street isn't really accessible by car, so we had to park elsewhere and walk back. But after all this we had a lovely stay when we finally got there.

Pros: Anna
Cons: -
Location: In a small ski village that is very quiet during summer. Hidden on a little street but easy to find. Room had mountain views.
This small hotel buried in the mountains is one of my favourite places to stay in the whole world. I was a spectator at the Tour de France this year which passed nearby and stayed here for two nights. The room was excellent and as far as value for money, it's the best I've ever seen. The beer is cheap at the bar down stairs and the manager Anna is the one of the friendliest people I've ever met. She went well above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Not to mention she also cooks in the kitchen and cooks delicious food for cheap! I've never bothered to write a review for any of the 100's of places I've stayed in the last 2 years but this hidden gem of a place deserves one.
