"A fine litthe find!"
The medieval centre of the small town of Miropoix in south-western France is a jewel as is frankly this 8-room hotel. It is much like living in an old home that it was, with antiques, squeeky floors here and there and so on. Besides, it is right at the square looking at that great old church and with some good restaurants around. Well equipped rooms. Peter B., Toronto

"Inexpensive Comfortable Hotel"
My wife and I stayed two nights in mid-March 2012. The hotel is a small building overlooking the river. Reception does not open until 5:30pm which can be a nuisance if you arrive early. We had a second floor room, which was small but adequate, and had a bonus of overlooking the river, with dual French windows also giving a brilliant view of the mountains. The bed was on the small side but was comfortable, and there was a flat screen TV. Wifi was free and parking was available in tiny yard at the rear. The bathroom was small but the shower was tiny and the sliding glass doors didn‘t close. The tiles were a bit mouldy in the grouting but was otherwise clean. The stairs were a bit creaky and there is no lift. Breakfast was of good quality. The manager was polite and helpful and offered some sight-seeing advice. This is an inexpensive hotel and is a comfortable place to stay.

"Summer stay"
Stayed 5 nights in August in a suite for families - 2 bedrooms, lounge, tiny kitchen area and little rooftop terrace. Bathroom arrangements a little strange - showers and sinks in the bedrooms and toilet down the corridor. Location is nice in the town square near the shops and market. The hotel is in a very old building which has been beautifully renovated and is full of character. The downside is that wireless works in some places and not others! There is a restaurant which is very lovely, expensive and upmarket but totally unsuitable for vegetarians. One day we had no housekeeping come to the room, but otherwise I would say it was all good.

"Lovely location and conversion."
We arrived at the apartment on 1st November - a holiday, nothing is open. The owner was very friendly and helped us settle in. We were disappointed to have a ground floor room after e-mails from the owner had suggested we have a first floor room as the views were so fantastic, we can only imagine. The apartment was really lovely, recently refurbished and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious. The living area would have been more comfortable with a proper settee as the bed settee was very slopey and uncomfortable. The village of St Lizier was beautiful and the church lovely. There is a restaurant just below the site of the apartments which has an amazing menu, the food was superb. There was no hair dryer in the apartment, but the owners supplied us with one once we asked. The location was fantastic for exploring the Pyrénées,
