Like the property for its convenience。 location is good, security and Staff service is good too. Very polite and courteous. Staff are Very willing to help when approached. Dislike that smoking is allowed.

Very friendly English speaking. Also note that in the Wotif notes, it states that the front reception is unstaffed, this isnt true. The reception is staffed as per a normal high end hotel. Walking distance to most features and the concierge will help by writing any tourist destination in Chinese so the local taxi drivers can deliver you to your destination easily

OK, if you are a foreigner staying in China, this is an amazing hotel to stay at. The staff speaks excellent English and was so helpful in navigating the city, how to get places, and helping us use Chinese apps for discounts, basically anything you need. Very friendly. Great stay, everything as you would wish to have it at a hotel.

Staff were attentive to needs and even catered kids slippers when they noticed kids stuff in the room! They also noticed we had an issue airing clothes. Initiative and attentiveness 100%!

Swimming Pool Warning
Bad choice. Hotel staff refused to let my family and I use the pool because we didn't have swimming hats, then tried to sell some to us for 40 dollars a pop. Sure, I get the policy, trying to keep dirty hairs out of the pool, but a heads up would have been nice, an star beside the "indoor pool" service explaining the conditions. Put a sour on our trip. Shame on Holiday Inn and Hotels.com

Perfect stay here
Awesome experience staying here. Great location close to shopping malls, Carrefour, restaurants and bars. 10min walk to the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and the breakfast is good. I enjoyed the stay in Qingdao. Will recommend Holiday Inn City Centre to my friends who come to Qingdao.

We were made to wait an hour before we could check into our room. There was no air condition despite winter was over. It was warm in the room. There concierge Tim was the worse concierge we have came across. When we asked him to help us book a certain seafood restaurant, he told us there’s a long queue, that we would have to queue for one hour. Then he arranged for another restaurant where they will send their driver to pick us. Of course we did not go to the restaurant he recommended. On our last night, we went to the concierge counter to help arrange for transport to take us to the airport the next day. He called the transport contact and told us he can’t tell us the price for the transport. That he will call us tomorrow. We are wondering why if it is the hotel transport, shouldn’t there be a standard price? I suggest you look into this guy’s work attitude. Seem like he’s trying to earn extra money.

Not as good as last time.
Not impressed that I booked and paid for the Executive Suite and it was closed. There was no notification of this over the CNY period. The make up for this closure was below acceptable for the payment. The food was essentially the same each night, with little variation.

Convenient location to go anywhere in QINGDAO. Clean and comfortable. Nice breskfast and very helpful consiege staff. The only thing which is not perfect is that reception desk staff seem not good in English.

Convenient business hotel not luxury
It's located in the heart of qingdao , very convenience , easy to access some attractions, staff are nice. After we check in, the room that they provided to us was quite dirty, we reported to the lobby staff and they changed a new room for us immediately.
