Nice hotel right off the highway

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Good for a decent night during a long road trip. Got in late and the staff was friendly and room clean. The bed was very hard and there was no hot breakfast (just fruit and cereal) but those were the only downsides.

Too much stuff in room

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Wall mount the TV and get a smaller dresser, get some plug strips or something.
Location: Restaurant next door (Machine Shed) is very nice and good value and was the reason we stayed at the hotel. We'll come back to the restaurant
Room was very cramped with king bed, dresser, table and lamps. so much stuff was in room that there was a floor lamp that had there was not an outlet for it. Had to move things around to do much of anything in the room. Fine for possible one person but with two people the room felt overwhelming small. All of the electrical plugs were at floor level so plugging in today's electronics (IPhone, IPad, etc) was a pain.

Got what we paid for!

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location, Machine Shed next door is WONDERFUL.
Cons: Clean the rooms before check-in.
Location: Breakfast at the Machine Shed is a must have, especially the cinnamon rolls which are literally the size of one's head!
You get what you pay for, and this is definitely true with hotels! The price was right, but the accommodations were disappointing. We are a family of 8, so require 2 rooms. We reserved both rooms at the same time, under the same name - yet they were nowhere near each other. My husband's room was labeled a non-smoking room, but contained an ashtray and reeked of cigarette smoke. When he told the front desk he'd like a different room because of this, the man working argued with him that because it was labeled as non-smoking, there was nothing he would do. My husband insisted, of course, and finally got a different room. Even further from mine. My room contained food trash left in the can, and a toilet which had been used and not flushed. The rooms are very small, barely fitting the two beds, a dresser, table and chair. The bathroom consisted of only a stall shower and no bathtub.

King bed in room is a little cramp

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: The King bed was very comfortable
Location: About 20-30 minutes from American Pickers in LeClaire and the John Deere Pavilllion in Moline.
We only stayed one night on our way through the Quad cities. The bed was comfortable although things were a bit cramped. Breakfast had cereal, fruit, toast, bagels, make your own waffles, juice and coffee.

Quiet place to sleep

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The restaurant next door. The hotel was easy to find.
Cons: They should have more than one ice maker and each room should have a small refrigerator. The room was too small for a king size bed.
Location: Restaurant next door was interesting and served a good meal.
Easy to find from the inner state highway. Facility was a little old but comfortable. The room was clean except for a used coffee pack in the coffee maker and an used open shampoo bottle on the support bar for the sliding shower door.

Pretty comforts le stay.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Booked a room for a soccer tournament. They did not have my room ready when I checked in. But was given the key. Housekeeping was next door cleaning up. I told her the room had not been made yet. Said mine is next n that it'll take her 5 mins to clean up. Really? I told her I was going to McD and will be back. 15 mins later, I came back to a well made bed. And everything else in place. It's the price I paid for. But at the same time I do know I have been to classier hotels, only to have waited more than an hour to have housekeeping do their thing. But I had to admit i had a comfortable stay. My room was clean. Breakfast was ok.

Nice hotel, next to a great country restaurant

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: price, nice tiled shower
Cons: make it no smoking, outside of the hotel everywhere smoking
Location: right of the HI way, next to a country restaurant
I didn't have a tv remote control in my room. Called the desk, staff said they would bring one but never did. Beds were serta sleepers but didn't work. One side of the bed was high the other low, felt like I slept in the hole.
