I had a great stay the beds were comfy and clean the shampoo and conditioner and bar soap all smelled really good. Breakfast in the morning was almost unbelievable how good it was biscuits and gravy sausage, sausage links, and the eggs were fluffy and delicious! I'm definitely going to be staying there again.

This hotel charged us twice for our stay, and has been no help in resolving the issue. It’s been almost 5 months since our stay, and while the hotel agrees that one of the charges should have been voided, I have explained that it did not get voided correctly because my bank did not receive the transaction to void the first charge. The hotel is not helping resolve it and Best Western’s corporate customer service agrees this should not have happened and they suggested I seek legal action to recoup the erroneous charge. Terrible customer service on a billing issue that was no fault of ours. Will never stay here again.

We completely understand your frustration with this issue. However we do not have your money. This has been shown by the chargeback you filed. The credit card company and bank agrees we do not have it or the chargeback would have stood. I have responded repeatedly to your inquiries as well as provided you all our documentation to take to your bank to show we do not have the funds. Again I understand your situation but we have done all we can on our end to rectify it.

Breakfast items that should be hot were not. Ate at 9am with an hour of serving time left. No cream cheese. I got last yogurt. It was not refilled in the half hour we were dining.

Newly remodeled, the place is a hidden gem for the price. Breakfast was excellent, with the apple/cranberry bake being a nice surprise. Staff was very welcoming. Applebees next door is a plus.

The water pressure was to die for. Great staff. Clean. Excellent television with a TV Guide channel and closed captioning. The parking is free, and there is easy access to Park Ave - one of the main thoroughfares in Muscatine and Highway 61. You can catch the bus from the hotel, plus there are three restaurants and one sports bar within a two-minute walk of the hotel. The coffee maker is different from the Keurig-style pod, which was disappointing. The breakfast could be better.

Not Quite a Pearl.
Room and bathroom had much wear and tear, room super humid and musty smelling, room door hard to open, tub filled with water while taking a shower and did not look clean because it was old and beat up. Bed pillows very uncomfortable. Entire hotel in general pretty ragged looking. Breakfast had various options but not vegetarian friendly when it came to hot items.. Instead of plain eggs, bacon was mixed in. There were other options like cereal and waffles. Staff was very nice and attentive. Parking free and easy. Good location.

The property shows attention to detail for maintenance, upkeep, and decoration. Sometimes you don’t see that. We liked the breakfast too.

Although I had to drive backward instead of toward West, I didn't mind at all because the other place was so bad. When I found Best Western Hotel, I felt much better. It's clean, safe, and the staffs were nice.

Not disappointed
This hotel had friendly staff, efficient check-in, clean comfortable room, and breakfast which included hot food- eggs, sausage! A waffle maker was also available but we didn't indulge 😉 The indoor pool looked inviting but our schedule didn't allow us time for a swim.
