“Would stay again when passing through.”

The checkin was very easy and quick. The room was relatively clean and the King Size bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good enough to get your day started and checkout was a friendly goodbye. The real five star accomodation was the hotel being pet friendly. Our two daschund's were no additional charge. They behaved themselves because the hotel was very quiet which kept our dogs very quiet. The room and bathroom were clean.

Area recommendations

not applicable. We just stayed over night and got on the road again. We didn't take the time to investigate the area.

“very satisfied”

For the price, this hotel was great...check-in was a breeze and the gentleman who was at the desk was very friendlly and could not have been more helpful. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though the tv was an older one (not a flat screen) it worked just fine and had every cable channel that one could want. The free high speed internet worked well...the bathroom was on the small side, but was also very clean. The breakfast served in the lobby was adequate for my needs...fruit, yogurt, english muffin and hard boiled egg. For those wanting more there was biscuits and gravy as well as make your own pancakes. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

It was is great range to down town and resteraunts beds and pillows were just how I like them..

“"Disappointed"”

I must say I was very disappointedwith the condition of the hotel. We were unable to close the curtains all the way therefore early in the morning we were awakened by sunlight. Also, housekeeping was horrible. We left a small bag on the bed when we went out. Housekeeping did not make the bed at all.

“Davenport trip”

The staff was very accommodating.

Area recommendations

I went specifically for the Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival. The main venues are LeClaire Park, Col Ballroom and Hotel Blackhawk. Not much time to see anything else.

“Not as Clean as I would like.”

The Hotel was older and the carpets were quite worn. The Hotel Staff was friendly and helpful. There was not a hotub which I would have preferred.
