Don't judge a hotel by its appearance.Posted May 10, 2015
This hotel is quaint. Stone and logs, canoes and fishing poles. Cabin-like. The room was spotless. However, when you turn off the lights and try to sleep? It's noisy. You can hear every room that's next to yours. That includes above and below, either side and outside the door. It looks good, but it must have been built poorly.

LOVED Everything about this hotel.Posted May 5, 2015
Cons: If anything, maybe a little bigger elevator <- That's it, really!
Location: Lots of restaurants near by within walking distant. Nice walking/bike path along the Mississippi River, John Deere Museum within walking distance also
I loved every single piece of this hotel. From the excellent customer service, to the décor, to the pool,to my bed, to the location...EVERYTHING. This was one of my favorite hotels to stay in and will definitely be doing it again. They definitely know what they are doing here, and they do it all well. Business, families, couples anyone can enjoy their stay here.

Almost greatPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Good location, reasonable price, clean and comfortable, everything seems well maintained.
Cons: There is lot's to do in the area, the staff could be better informed.
Location: There is a museum at the Rock Island Arsenal, boat tours on the Mississippi, Eagle watching areas, a museum at John Deer headquarters, Niobi Zoo.
This is a Northwoods themed hotel. They have obviously gone to a lot of trouble to try getting the feel of the place right with special carpet patterns in the halls, rustic wood towel holders in the bathrooms, etc. Somehow it just doesn't quite work. It feels like a nice modern hotel with kitsch tacked on. That said it is clean comfortable and quiet. The staff doesn't seem very knowledgeable about the area. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, their recommendation was poor.

Great weekendPosted Feb 25, 2015
Fantastic place to stay. I was in town for a convention at the Iwireless arena and this hotel was a great choice. Staff was extra helpful and the airport shuttle was a great extra. I will absolutely stay here again.

CozyPosted Feb 24, 2015
We stayed couple days in this hotel. The bed and bathroom is my thing and the first thing I check in a hotel. It really met my expectation for the price I paid. Everything are excellent. I highly recommend this place.
