What a fantastic stay! Mike was beyond helpful, accommodating, and friendly. We had a very large group, and Mike and his staff went the extra mile for us. I can't say enough great things about the treatment we received during our stay!
Great staff. John on the front desk gave excellent service and was helpful and friendly. One suggestion for breakfast, a pork free egg dIsh selection would be nice.
The hotel is your typical Quality Inn decent in rooms, has a pool and a nice game room with a pool table. This was a family trip so it for the bill. The manager and his staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure all guests got what they needed and were comfortable. On several occasions we needed something from front desk or housekeeping and they were happy to do it. It’s refreshing to see people want to help and with a smile on their face. Great work here!

Does the job perfectly well
It was fine, clean and reasonably comfortable. Not my first choice for a holiday getaway but fine for a work trip.
It was clean and a nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. They corrected a mistake on my bill that I didn't know about. They provided a hot sausage-egg-cheese casserole every morning for breakfast because of Covid restrictions. Otherwise they had fresh waffles, bread for toast, Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran, and orange and apple juices. Also coffee. The bed was too soft for me, but comfortable.
Check in went very smoothly. Mike asked if we had dinner plans and gave us a coupon to the Thunder Bay restaurant next door, very good. Room was clean and quiet. Slept like a rock. Checked out the pool, it was open and very inviting! Breakfast smelled amazing but had a breakfast meeting so didn’t partake. Will stay again when in Davenport.
The staff were absolutely amazing. I had forgotten a very important thing there and it was my daughters uniform an the staff went above and beyond to help me with receiving it back!
The staff at the Quality Inn were very accommodating and polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. This was our 3rd time staying with them and we had a nice breakfast. There is a Menards across the street and a fabulous restaurant just 2 doors down called Thunder Bay Grille. Great place to stay! 👍
Although we knew this motel was a tad outdated compared to others we've stayed on this trip, the owner (?) Was friendly & surprisingly he sanitized every surface the next morning as guests left the breakfast area!
Check-in was great, the staff was nice and funny. Check-out was a little different. It was the lady taking care of the breakfast and when I handed her the keys and told her we were checking out, she didn't even look up from the computer and say anything!!!
Toilette wouldn't flush and ended up backing up into bath tub . Staff came n plunged it for to hike 15 min. And left bathroom a mess. The brought cleaning supplies to us instead of switching us rooms and letting us e enjoy our stay
Quick overnight for a road trip and have stayed here before. I am a hotel manager in Colorado and was utterly dismayed at the LACK of COVID best practices in place for guest safety etc. When I inquired about this at check in (comparing to what we are doing in CO and other properties I stayed at this past week) the front desk lady looked at me like I’m crazy. I realize Iowa didn’t shut down but most guests were out of state per parking lot... Unfortunately some properties are using COVID as an excuse to cheap out on amenities that could still be offered. There are NO enhanced cleaning/sanitation practices in place due to COVID per front desk. This is required at other places including Colorado and Michigan. Much different story when staying at different property in Iowa city a week later (Drury Inn, highly recommend!) I will NOT stay here again as long as COVID is something to worry about when traveling.
This hotel has the best staff I have ever come across. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms. At this time they are cooking breakfast to order and it was perfect. This is now my go to place in Davenport.
With Covid 19 in the air we were wondering if we would find a hotel open when we arrived in Davenport, IA while on a quick round trip from MI. The state had just opened the restaurants that very day. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Quality in was open. 👍 The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was made to order. 👍🙂We had to make a trip to DesMoines the next day but enjoyed our stay in Davenport so much that we booked a second night for our trip back to MI. Thank you staff and Hotels.com for helping make our trip a success in these hard times. 😀👍

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Ropm was being repaired when it was supposed to be read,had a 20 minute wait..tv did not work...had to be moved..coffee pot did not work...
The young woman who checked us i n was VERY VERY apologitic and very accommodatng is why i gave the service an ok rating, ...the owner was not very helpful.. the clerk in the morning was very rude ..will not stay again
