Not good

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: To get the whole place torn down.
Location: We left after one night.
Our room was with the connecting wall of the elevator shaft and we heard every time someone used the elevator. No hair dryer in our room and had to get one from a neighboring room after we had called the front desk and no one came. There were water spots on the ceiling and the room was non smoking but smelled of smoke. When we checked out and told the desk clerk about the noise , he was surprised and offered nothing to us.

Run down and smelled

Looked like an extended stay hotel for migratory workers. I left after seeing the room and went down the street to another hotel.

Wouldn't stay there again unless changes are made

The staff was friendly but when I checked in I was handed keys and not given any other info. (Check out time, options for breakfast etc). If it was not already 11:30 at night I woulds have decided to leave after viewing the lobby and hallways. Very very dirty. Not just needing the carpet shampooed etc but thick dust on structures, floors had not been vacuumed for who knows how long. Broken lampshade. Heater in lobby dirty and grate broken, statue dirty and chipped etc. Gave me a really uneasy feeling about the cleanliness. Luckily when I got to the room it was clean.Needing repairs though. Wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, some of the furniture was really chipped and scratched.

I love this place

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Its close to everything and the people there will bend over backwards to do anything for you...
Cons: just update the rooms and such, everything needs updated as the years go by....
Location: Movies are right down the street, interstate is right around the corner...more places to eat then you can count..
The people are sooooo friendly here and it has such an old world charm to the place....the rooms need updateing like new tvs but I still wouldn't change much in it....

Pros: antique frunature everywhere some of it is warn but is great.
Cons: a little cleaner, maybe some updates would help the cleaning.
they rented me a room after the expedia rate and saved me 10$ additional. they helped me save some bucks since expedias best was 50 a night. Their weekly rate is 40 I really have enjoyed the stay.

Fading Glory

Must've been nice at one time. The furniture, especially in the lobby, was impressive. But the place has seen better days. Peeling wallpaper and well-worn rugs and furniture suggest that the place is not bringing in the revenue it once did. The staff was friendly, and if you can get a cheap rate, it's worth a night.

looks great from the outside

Pros: A bed to sleep in and reasonable price
Cons: Just about everything, and different furniture that's falling apart.
Location: Isle of Capri gambling casino
The ceiling in our room and hallways had water damage, the whole place could use paint and upgrades

Past it's prime.

Posted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: It was close to the highway but still felt secluded.
Cons: Fix the main entry and make it inviting. Get rid of the cheap slipcovers and buy new couches for the lobby. Repair damaged guest room walls.
Location: Well located with easy access to each of the Quad Cities, major highways, the Mississippi River and nature areas. Also close to shopping and sports.
Everything about this hotel seemed old and worn. The room was clean and comfortable but somewhat shabby. The staff seemed a bit disinterested.

The Lodge Hotel Bettendorf, IA

Very interesting and historic hotel with a lot of charm. The hotel needs small maintenance in a lot of places but, overall the stay went well.
