We spent 4 nights at the hotel, while enjoying a fall weekend getaway. Prior to our arrival, we'd been in contact with Annie-Nicole, the concierge, who was superb and very responsive in securing tickets for specific venues of the International Jazz Festival, as well as reservations at a wonderful series of restaurants. The setting in lower town was ideal, with excellent proximity to fine restaurants, art galleries, and the best shopping in the city, also away from the crush of tourists elsewhere in the city.

The owner was most pleasant and accommodating, and the food was fabulous. When she realized that I was travelling with my elderly mother she upgraded us to a room on the main floor as not to have to use the stairs. Thank you!

Rooms and decor are very contemporary. Two comforable lobbies, one with daily complimentary tea, coffee, and seasonal flavored water. The included breakfast was very satisfying. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We were greeted by the owner who made us feel at home and made suggestions for things to see and do in the city. We enjoy small family owned hotels and don't expect upscale.
The internet was free and worked well and there was a computer available to print boarding passes.
Breakfast is made to order and delivered by the owner.
We had a very early flight and he made a taxi reservation the day before our flight for us.
The only negative would be carrying luggage up the stairs if you don't pack light.
