I don't like it charges too much for a night parking.

Bonjour, Thank you for your most generous review about your stay at the Best Western Plus City Centre Quebec. We appreciate that you took the time to post it. It is always gratifying to know that our performance was effective and appreciated. We effectively offer a valet parking which is 24$ plus taxes per night and is in and out privileges. This kind of parking is a must in Quebec City due to the fact that streets are really small and there is no much self-parking and parking lots in the Downtown area. The valet parking is then the easiest and even, usually, the cheapest way to park. Moreover, if you prefer to be free of mind, you may always try the bus or train facilities. We are within 10 minutes walking distance from the bus and train terminal and it gives you the chance to know Quebec City from a different angle. Also, we would like to advise all-Expedia readers that our neighbor is getting a makeover. Therefore, work can be done between 7 am and 5 pm from Monday to Tuesday at the Place Jacques-Cartier across the street. Noise could be louder than usual and we may ensure you that we are taking all measures possible to offer you the most enjoyable stay as possible. All information concerning this transformation is available of the Quebec City website. We are very excited to see the results, but for now, we can happily observe the work progress. Again, thank you for your comments and we hope you will think of us when you will be back in Quebec City.

Bonjour, Thank you for your comments concerning your stay at the Best Western Plus City Centre Quebec. I appreciate that you took the time to post such a great review. . It is always gratifying to know that our performance was effective and appreciated. I am very happy to read that you enjoyed our “excellent staff” as they went over and beyond for you. We strive on a daily basis to ensure that our staff always takes time to interact with guests in suggesting activities, showing directions, etc. As always, I am proudly passing on your comments to the entire team knowing that it will serve as an inspiration to continue our constant efforts. Also, I would like to advise Expedia Readers, that our neighbor is getting a makeover. In fact, a 20 store building and an underground parking is actually in construction at the Jacques-Cartier Place, promising to become the center stage of downtown Quebec. We are very excited about those great news and work daily to minimize the construction impact on the high quality of service and sleep we always provided. Of course, noise could be louder from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, but we are always available to answer all requests or any concerns you may have. Once more, thank you for your contribution. It was a true pleasure to have you stay with us and we hope you will visit us again the next time you are in Quebec City. We look forward to it.

good location

Pros: Reasonable price, walking distance to Old Quebec, clean, comfortable.
Cons: shuttle to the airport.
Location: walk or bus to old part of the city with all the sites.
The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had the loan of an umbrella for 2 days! We had an extra sized room on the end. The room was clean, free wi-fi, mini-fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV. Coupon for 10% off in the little cafe. They called for a cab to the airport no problem. On check in we were given a map and directions to many sites.

I am passing on your comments, knowing that it will serve as an inspiration to our staff to continue their efforts. I appreciate that you mentioned we are not located in the Old Quebec. In fact, the walk to reach the walls of the old city is 1.3 kilometers long and in part uphill. It takes a little less than 20 minutes to reach the walls of the Old City from our hotel and about 15 minutes for the return. Our neighborhood, the Nouvo St-Roch, is also very entertaining. Within 2 minutes walk, our clients have access to many restaurants, shops and even theaters. St-Roch district has a much diversified arts and entertainments programming all year long. Good location, just minutes from Quebec-Old City

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Not a bad choice. Location is close to everything, price is right, business room is large, clean, quiet and has a small fridge. No breakfast is included but you can use the 10% coupon for the cafe place on main level. Valet parking is expensive - alternatively you can use public underground 24 hr. parking 5 min away, half price.

Bonjour, Thank you for your great review concerning your stay at the Best Western Plus City Centre Quebec. I appreciate that you took the time to post it. It is always gratifying to know that our performance was effective and appreciated. I am grateful that you let us know of your satisfaction. Indeed, we offer a 24$ flat per night valet service provides the best simple and secure option for your car, with unlimited in an out access. I would like to precise that our valet parking is absolutely optional, not mandatory. If you prefer self-parking, you may choose from one of the many public parking surrounding our hotel. Price may vary from one to another and may involve a few minutes’ walk to get the car each time you need it. Also, all of our room categories offer the same level of quality and cleanliness and offers standard high quality natural memory foam mattresses, mp3/ipod compatible radio-clock, synthetic duvet comforter to name only a few. However, Business Class and Executive categories offer you that little plus most of people are looking for. Also, we would like to advise you that our neighbor (The Public Library) is getting a major make over. A twenty (20) story building, indoor parking and public place / park is currently under construction. Construction site is active Mondays to Fridays between 7 am until 5 pm. Noise level could be higher than normal. Hotel is taking all possible measures to offer our clients the most enjoyable stay as possible. Estimated completion date is not available at this time. It was a true pleasure to have you stay with us and we hope you will visit us again at the Best Western Plus City Centre Quebec the next time you are in Quebec City.

Bonjour, Thank you for your comments concerning your stay at the Best Western Plus City Centre Quebec. I appreciate that you took the time to post them. Your feedback is very much appreciated and I can assure that we use this information to do everything possible to create an enjoyable experience for each of our guests. You are right; the Old Quebec district is located in the upper part of the city. Travelers have to go up the hill to get to this part of the City from the hotel. According to Google Maps, there is actually 1.2 km (0.75 miles) – 15 minutes’ walk - that separates our property from the entrance of the Old City. I am also disappointed you did not enjoyed our neighbourhood. The hotel is located in the Nouvo St-Roch district, a new tourist destination born in dynamic sector of the capital, on the sidelines of Old Quebec. Our sector was the old working class neighborhood now reborn as centerstage for the city’s artistic events and as a cultural hub. The design of this commercial artery allows visitors to discover a pleasant and innovative real life environment, restaurant of all styles and prices in addition of a host of different boutiques. Our area is absolutely safe and definitively beautiful to discover. Convenient location

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Good quality at a good price.
Cons: Skip the overpriced mediocre "American" buffet breakfast and walk 1.5 blocks to a fantastic bakery/coffee shop.
Location: There's at least 2 phenomenal bakeries, a market/grocery, and microbrewery within 2 blocks.
It is in a convenient location in a more residential area; you will need a car. Good size room with 2 queen beds.

Bonjour, Thank you for your great review about your stay at the Best Western Plus City Centre Quebec. I appreciate that you took the time to post it. I am glad you enjoyed the walk to the old city area. We are very proud of our privileged location in the city, making almost all of Quebec sight and attractions easy to reach for our guests by walk. We are perfectly suited to discover the old walled city, which is 1.2 Km from the hotel or about 15 minutes walking distance, but also many other winter interests areas as the Quebec City Old Port, the Petit Champlain area and the Nouvo Saint-Roch district. We are glad to know that you enjoyed our spacious rooms. All room categories offer the same level of quality and cleanliness and offers standard high quality natural memory foam mattresses, mp3/ipod compatible radio-clock, synthetic duvet comforter to name only a few. However, Business Class and Executive categories offer you that little plus most of people are looking for! When staying in a business class room, you are guaranteed to be on a higher floor and be provided with a mini-fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, bathrobes and deluxe amenities as well. If you are looking for more luxury, an Executive room is for you. These rooms are located in a private section of the hotel and offer the same benefits as the Business Class but the main advantage is the exclusive extra-large deluxe glass shower with rain shower head. It is a must! Also, we would like to advise all-Expedia readers that our neighbor is getting a makeover! We are very excited to see the results, but for now, we can happily observe the work progress! Again, thank you for your feedback. Bonjour, Thank you for your comments concerning your stay at the Best Western City Centre Quebec. I appreciate that you took the time to post them. I am grateful that you let us know of your satisfaction. Indeed, our neighborhood, called the Nouvo St-Rocd, hosts many restaurants of all cuisine styles and budget. The design of this commercial artery allows visitors to discover a pleasant and innovative real life environment. We also have the chance to have a fantastic in-house French bistro restaurant called Bistro Le 330. Undeniably, with is North American food and its punctual flavors of classic French cuisine, our Bistro is certainly a place to discover, for breakfast and dinner with friends and family. However, concerning your comments on our check-in and check-outs counter, during the cruise season it is true that the front desk staff can be very busy, but all counters can proceed to check-in and check-out the more effectively as possible. Also, we would like to advise all-Expedia readers that our neighbor is getting a makeover! We are very excited to see the results, but for now, we can happily observe the work progress! Again thank you for your comments, it was a true pleasure to have you stay with us and we hope you will visit us again at the Best Western City Centre Quebec the next time you are in Québec City. We look forward to it.
