close to old QuebecPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Warm welcome. Helpful staff. Hearty breakfast! 20 minute walk to the Plains of Abraham and 30 minutes from old Québec.

Great placePosted Jul 6, 2013
Pros: Service, location, atmosphere
Location: Old city, historic sites, biking and running trails/rentals.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. Quaint atmosphere with excellent service and breakfast. Walking distance to the old city area of Quebec. (about 2 miles) I and my wife will definitely be going back to this very charming place.

pleasant staff, very comfortable, good locationPosted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked at the last minute and were so happy with the price, comfort and staff friendliness. It was fairly close to the lower town. It's on a busy street with road noise, but with windows closed and A/C on, not hard to sleep. Breakfast was mostly just toast and tea/coffee. Free parking and a quick ride to all major sites. We'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely B&B below Plains of Abraham cliff.Posted Jun 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The service and breakfast are excellent, parking is free, but you should know that if you don't want to drive up to the plateau, you need to be OK with walking or driving about 1km to the public swimming pool parking lot (also free) and climbing the 398 steps of the Cap-Blanc stairs. Fantastic workout!

DisappointingPosted May 28, 2013
Pros: Easy parking
Cons: Room privacy
Location: This place is in between boulevard Champlain in the front and an abrupt slope in the back. There is nothing to see both sides.
How to describe the deception we felt about this place. Forget about any privacy. The rooms are so tiny that you constantly watch any noise you make, wondering if your neighbor has heard anything. Private bathroom? forget about that also. Here's the portrait : Two tiny rooms separate by a common bathroom in the middle. Each room got it's own door to get access to washroom. First you unlock your door, enter bathroom and lock your neighbor door, open the light that for sure kills any darkness in any of the rooms, try to make the less noise possible because be sure the neighbor can hear everything. The breakfast is also disappointing. No fruits at all. The coffee is not warm and all you eat is made up of flour. After a while, all this flour is acting like a mass in your stomach. The balcony stick to an abrupt rock and mud slope that gives you nothing to look at. And once again, if your neighbor stand on the balcony, you'll have to kind of share that space with him because the separation is as small as the rooms are.

Great place to stay!Posted Mar 7, 2013
Location: The location is a little outside of Old Quebec (not really walking distance from anything) but it is nice and quiet.
The owner Emily is so friendly! She really cares about her customers!

Cozy place to stayPosted Jan 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel may not be downtown but it is a short car ride to Le Petit Champlain (lower city) and it is worth being a little farther to pay a better price. The host is very kind and discrete, we enjoyed it very much.

The place was comfortable and clean, and Alexandra, the host, was really friendly and helpful. We were lucky that someone cancelled his reservation at the room with the private bathroom, and we got an upgrade to that room for the same price! The room also had a nice terrace. The only thing is that this place is not so close to the center as it seems... If you don't want to use the bus, you have to walk around 40 minutes to arrive to the old area, or you can climb almost 400 steps! And there is nothing around, so you need to go to the center for everything......

Very Friendly/Nice Bed BreakfastPosted Aug 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
This bed and breakfast was very clean. The hostess was very friendly and provides all the information you need. The amenities were quite nice. The only drawback I could think of for those who do not like to walk would be that it is located about a mile from the city. Otherwise, the bed and breakfast is located within walking distance (about 1 mile) from the city.
