“Lived up to our expectations”

My family and I visited the Chateau the last weekend of May, 2009. My son had just graduated from college and it was to be a special weekend. It was that and more. The Chateau is beautiful. Everyone was gracious and very helpful.The Hotel has an Old World charm, with the doormen in their uniforms to the horse drawn carriages parked outside. You can not go wrong with this Hotel, and they even have special rates occasionally.

“Hotel Upgrades Complimentary to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary”

We had a beautiful room with a king bed over looking the Saint Lawrence River with all the regular amenities plus a box of welcome chocolates and a note congratulating us on our anniversary As a member of their Presidents Club (join free) we also received free internet and a daily newspaper everyone on staff was friendly and knowledgeable thehotel is close to everything in the old city and a gorgeous building the one drawback was the high cost of parking we rented a car we are looking forward to staying there again

“Lovely hotel and well situated”

The grand hotel is well situated for both city activities as well as nearby skiing sites. On site restaurants were fine but there were loads of wonderful eateries within a 5 minute walk from the hotel too.

Excellent hotel. Can be pricey, but we got a good rate. Right in the middle of what's happening in Quebec City.

We felt like the most important people in Quebec at this castle! It was like a dream come true. The location is amazing, at the center of everything. We were so proud to be staying at this landmark hotel.

Very nice hotel. The room was not ready when we arrived at 1500 but we could get an upgrade. The room was very nice and big and we could sleep four people, two adults and two kids (12 and 15). Hotel very central to shopping street and old Quebec. Garage just in the corner for $26Ca a night.

This was a large, castle-like hotel and we were treated like royalty. I have stayed in hotels across the US and Canada and this was the best. My husband and I traveled to Quebec City to celebrate my recent retirement and the stay could not have been more perfect. Each night the scrumptious bedding was turned down, classical music playing, chocolates on the bed. Great experience. Worth every penney!
