Charming little hotel near the Plains of AbrahamPosted Oct 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
The Manoir de la Tour, near Martello Tower no 2 in the Plains of Abraham, is a little European-style hotel. The room on the 3rd floor was a bit small, but it was clean and cozy. My partner and I had a very good time. We especially appreciated the fresh croissants at breakfast, and the friendly service from the attendants. Excellent value for the price.

Great location, friendly staffPosted Apr 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
This charming 3-story building is situated a short walk from Old Quebec's upper town, along the Plaines d'Abraham and Battlefield Park. The room was out-dated and not very stylish, but everything was clean and well-stocked. The service was exceptionally friendly - even to the point that the man suggested I park overnight in the street for free instead of paying him to park in their garage, and the woman offered to let me use her computer to print directions. The breakfast buffet was adequate, filling and supplemented by warm croissants (different juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, cereals, bagels, croissants, jams, cream cheese, etc.). Everything about the experience was pleasant and well worth the money - considering it was one of the cheapest choices in the area.

A jewel in a beautiful cityPosted Dec 10, 2009
I love Quebec City and have stayed at many of the larger and better known hotels, but this was a find, a jewel, price is right and within walking distance of all the major tourist area including lower Town. Would stay there again without any hesitation!
