Boutique hotel with great attention to detail.Posted Sep 30, 2014
Appreciated the extensive high end finishes in the bedroom and bathroom. The decor was also well executed. As others have identified, breakfast was scrumptious. The entire staff displayed great hospitality throughout our 4 night stay. Would highly recommend. It was convenient the hotel was walking distance to L' Ketchup, des Bois, and Croquembouche.

Small boutique hotel, industrial chicPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Antonio and Diego were fantastic hosts.
Cons: there was a strange odor upstairs in the hallway, sort of a mild manure smell....not sure what that was
Location: Trendy hilly Rue St. Jean a neat find, away from the touristy old town, Le Clocher Penche bistro 5 min. away, had a fantastic meal, arctic char
totally non-cookie-cutter. Packed with style. Amazingly friendly staff. Breakfasts were over the top, best food deal in all of Quebec City, loaded with fresh fruit and all the espresso you could dream of for 6 bucks! The Van Gogh Starry Night motif in main area was beautifully done and all the hand crafted sculptures here and there made you feel like you were in a gallery. The room was very tasteful, nice amenities, loved the fridge with unlimited water and the espresso maker. People have complained about the lack of elevator and the longish walk to the old town, but we loved the exercise and that part of Quebec City. There were trendy eateries and shops within easy walking distance.

Helpful staff, great hotelPosted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Diego was very helpful with terrific recommendations about wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance and bike routes. The room was very comfortable and made good use of its trapezoidal shape. Wonderful location between excellent restaurants and the walled part of the city. Good breakfast custom prepared.

This is a beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable, and with an awesome breakfast. It's not in the tourist area, but a short walk away.

Gem of a neighborhood hotelPosted Aug 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
We loved the convenience, comfort, and friendliness of hotel staff at L'Auberge Le Vincent. The breakfasts were excellent, and the hotel was within walking distance to an elevator to go up to the old city. Parking at the hotel garage was very convenient and reasonable. We would love to stay at the hotel on a future visit. We especially enjoyed talking to Diego.

The only place worth staying in Quebec CityPosted Jul 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed for four nights while visiting Quebec City. Antonio was a fantastic and gracious host. He was wonderful and helpful with everything--from recommendations for bike paths, restaurants, to interesting sights, etc. Even when managing busy breakfast rush, he was gracious and kind. We felt taken care of by him and Diego. The breakfast was worth every penny and the location couldn't be better for us. We didn't want to be in the old city where it was busy. Yet it was a nice stroll when we wanted to go. The close location to rue saint Joseph was an unforeseen plus! We love the vibe and restaurants on this street.
