Gets the job donePosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: free wifi (when it worked, which was most of the time), pretty good free breakfast, comfortable bed, hot shower
Cons: clean up the hallway areas (although I don't care too much about that since I'm not sleeping in the hallways), slow elevator
Location: We didn't explore the area much, but there is a nearby riteaid and if you're willing to take a 15 minute walk you can get to some bustling local shops
This isn't a fancy place, but it certainly works for a few nights. The hallways and public areas aren't spotless and clean, but the room itself was clean and had nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. The shower worked great and had hot water and all that jazz. The wifi did work in our room, but sometimes the "max number of guests" being on the wifi at once would make it impossible to use. We would ask the front desk to reset the internet in that case. The free breakfast had bagels, donuts, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. It was actually quite good for a free continental breakfast. The staff was nice. They helped us find nearby convenience stores and taxi suggestions, etc. So overall, a good stay even if it's not a fancy place. I'd stay there again.

Good place to stayPosted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: We like the bonus that came with the hotel: free breakfast and parking. I would stay here again.
Cons: Maybe more hot breakfast and fruits.
Location: Our room was on the main street side with a view of the cemetery. Other than that, the place was good. Walking distance to the shops at Roosevelt area
It was just a place to sleep for us as we went around during the day but we did not experience any problem. The parking was first come, first serve basis but there were plenty of free street parking as well.

close to 24hr train to ManhattanPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: room was clean generally
Cons: carpet in the room and the wallpaper was peeling off Staff could be more friendly
Location: near 24 hour train to manhattan 42nd street. Couple of good restuarants nearby
room was just ok but would not recommend staying there . I was in a room near a large fan in the hallway that operates constantly and kept me awake .Also i left some property behind and when I contacted the hotel later they wern't interested and stated it would be thrown out in the trash!

COMFORTABLE HOTEL. GOOD LAYOVER BETWEEN FLIGHTSPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: PLEASANT HELPFUL STAFF. CLEAN ROOM.
Cons: THE BLACKOUT SHADES DIDN'T DRAW. I WOKE WITH THE DAWN. I WAS SURPRISED BY THE DOLLAR A PAGE CHARGE TO PRINT OUR BORDING PASSES.[
Location: THE LOCATION IS A LITTLE FAR FROM LAGUARDIA AIRPORT TO BE CLASSIFIED AS AN AIRPORT HOTEL. I PAID A $25 CAB FARE TO GET TO THE AIRPORT.
CHECK IN WAS QUICK AND EASY. ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE, COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST WAS SPARSE IN COMPARISON TO SIMILAR HOTELS. BREAKFAST AREA HAD VERY LIMITED SEATING AND WE SAW PEOPLE EATING STANDING UP. SEVERAL WHO HAD FIRST FLOOR ROOMS TOOK THEIR BREAKFAST AND WALKED BACK TO THE ROOM.
