Arrived late, had trouble finding a parking spot..very small lot. Our room was across from elevator and main entrance, therefore, extremely noisy..However, for price and location it was acceptable.

Good Location For Sightseeing

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Good location to mass transportation. Good breakfast bar with plenty to eat.
Cons: Seating in the breakfast area is limited because of the small area it is in.
Location: You can go anywhere in New York City just by catching the subway that is just one block away. We took in all of the sights which were too many to list
We arrived late but our room was still available. It was clean and the desk clerk was helpful in getting us a place to park, which is limited. The location to the subway one block away was great. We parked our car the first night and never got in it again until our stay was complete. We took the subway everywhere and met some very friendly people who were so helpful when we weren't sure when to change trains. The breakfast was very good every day and was replenished very quickly. I would recommend this hotel for sightseers and tourist because of its location.

Rude staff old hotel

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Cons: Get some one who actually wants to help to work the night shift.
The night staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Do not recommend.

Recommended for optimum economical staying in NY.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Easy access to public transportation. polite and friendly staff. Complete prepared equipment and accessories
Cons: Allocate the sufficient space for the buffet/Breakfast also concierge area.
Location: Despite the inn qualified building ,the location is not much good. there is nothing to do nearby. This inn is just good for sleeping
The good points are: Easy access to METRO, to be connected to city areas. Polite receptionists. Complimentary accessories of the room. The weak points are: Very small buffet area (Just to tables with total 5 chairs) for entire guests. small and exposed area for concierge not much clean towels and bath tube.

Hotel confortable and near subway.

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Close to Subway, clean room, good breakfast, like I say at the price could never complain.
Cons: Breakfast area was small but who cares, at that price, I brought my breakfast to my room.
Location: Great location, just take the subway around the corner, didn't know of any other activities in that area but did not really check.
For $99.00 a night and no parking fees breakfast, cant' get better than that. Subway around the corner and no need to use the car for 3 days yesss, it stayed in our free parking. To drive to NY city, $13.00 to enter gaz city parking, really not worth the assle. Subway is really safe, lots' of workers etc. Not scared one bit of surroundings, was so close from subway anyway. In our parking saw a lot of luxurious cars so I guess I am not the only one that doesn't want expensive hotels, would rather put my money on good meals, souvenirs, tours etc...When I come back to NY city, will reserve for this hotel again, why bother check anywere.

Gets the job done

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: free wifi (when it worked, which was most of the time), pretty good free breakfast, comfortable bed, hot shower
Cons: clean up the hallway areas (although I don't care too much about that since I'm not sleeping in the hallways), slow elevator
Location: We didn't explore the area much, but there is a nearby riteaid and if you're willing to take a 15 minute walk you can get to some bustling local shops
This isn't a fancy place, but it certainly works for a few nights. The hallways and public areas aren't spotless and clean, but the room itself was clean and had nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. The shower worked great and had hot water and all that jazz. The wifi did work in our room, but sometimes the "max number of guests" being on the wifi at once would make it impossible to use. We would ask the front desk to reset the internet in that case. The free breakfast had bagels, donuts, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. It was actually quite good for a free continental breakfast. The staff was nice. They helped us find nearby convenience stores and taxi suggestions, etc. So overall, a good stay even if it's not a fancy place. I'd stay there again.

Good place to stay

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: We like the bonus that came with the hotel: free breakfast and parking. I would stay here again.
Cons: Maybe more hot breakfast and fruits.
Location: Our room was on the main street side with a view of the cemetery. Other than that, the place was good. Walking distance to the shops at Roosevelt area
It was just a place to sleep for us as we went around during the day but we did not experience any problem. The parking was first come, first serve basis but there were plenty of free street parking as well.

close to 24hr train to Manhattan

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: room was clean generally
Cons: carpet in the room and the wallpaper was peeling off Staff could be more friendly
Location: near 24 hour train to manhattan 42nd street. Couple of good restuarants nearby
room was just ok but would not recommend staying there . I was in a room near a large fan in the hallway that operates constantly and kept me awake .Also i left some property behind and when I contacted the hotel later they wern't interested and stated it would be thrown out in the trash!
