Arrowtown Oasis

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: comfort and quiet as well as great food.
Cons: this place has everything we needed and more.
Location: quiet secluded location but very close to the town centre. Numerous walks are available nearby. Also a great place to use as a base wineries
The hotel is located 100m from the town's main street so its an easy walk to the shops etc. The hotel is delightful. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Hosts Steve and Janette are gracious hosts who put you at ease. Evening drinks in their garden with delicious canapes is a real treat. the breakfasts are very good with great coffee and food. Make sure you have at least one morning meal when you are there.

Relaxing with great service

It was definitely the high light of the Queenstown trip we had. The hosts were so friendly and their service was top notch. The breakfast and evening appetizers were so high in quality, it was in fact better than the restaurants in town. Absolutely will be back again.

Astounded in Arrowtown

Pros: Hosts Steve and Jeanette, and their marvelous cooking
Cons: Having to check out
Location: Quiet, relaxed, convenient
Quite probably the best place we've ever stayed, in New Zealand or anywhere else. Great location, magnificent hosts, splendid food. The perfect spot to enjoy the Queenstown region - fine dining restaurants only minutes walk away, all the big ticket attractions within 15 minutes drive, none of the hustle and bustle of Queenstown itself. Can't wait to go back.
