Comfortable, spacious hotel.Posted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Comfortable rooms, covered car park access very good (and free, at least for us). Good inexpensive washing drying room for guests.
Cons: Checked in early, reminded that room not available until 2pm, Arrived back at 2:15pm to be told no rooms yet available, waited further 20 mins:-(
Location: The hotel is just outside the centre of Queenstown (up a hill) on the main road, great for getting to and from places, a bit noisily at night.
We had a large room with two queen beds - very comfortable

Lovely spacious hotel. Clean, tidy & modernPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Great gym & private spa pool.
Cons: Should be free wi-fi
Location: 10 minutes walk to the city, the bus that goes to the airport stops in front of the hotel.
Very tidy hotel with polite & helpful stuff. Our room was good size. The breakfast was awesome, so much to choose of. I'd definitely come back again. Suitable for families.

Value for money hotel!Posted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: Room quality, fixtures and lake view were excellent. Location of the hotel is great as it's near the town centre and the airport as well.
Cons: Room heater need to be warmer. Buffer breakfast selections need variety.
Location: Superb location as it is 10mins away from the city centre and near the airport.
Room presentation and quality of service is good. Definitely, get the winter warmer package as it is value for money. Buffet breakfast was more than average, buffet selections need more variety if you're staying longer than 2 days. Room heater could be warmer but overall it's a nice hotel to stay in and the view of Lake Wakatipu was just breathtaking.

Pleasant stay in Queenstown.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Very good breakfast buffet was included in our stay. Very good location as you can easily walk to the downtown area within 15 minutes. Beds were very comfortable. The carpet was a bit dated and could do with updating. The room otherwise was very clean and well kept.

Not a Lakeview for everyonePosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: The buffet breakfast was acceptable.
Cons: Advertise that ground floor rooms do NOT have a lake view. Double glaze the whole hotel. Update it.
Location: It is a longer walk into town than we were expecting, and not really advisable at night.
Our room in NO way matched the photos on the website that were displayed for our 'deal' when we booked. "Lakeview"??? We were on the ground floor - our reward for booking two nights intead of just one. (Was advised we were only there for one night, they could have moved us further up.) Nothing on the ground floor has a Lakeview. We had a motorway view. This hotel is OLD and dated. Doors still have KEYS, not swipe cards! Single glazing means you hear traffic noise and feel the cold. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone unless you are paying backpacker rates.

Good family accommodationPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Large apartment, gym, spa
Cons: Could only access Internet in hotel foyer for a short time each day.
Location: Short walk to town, nearby restaurants, easy drive to ski fields
Great stay, large 2 bedroom apartment suitable for family of 5. Short walk to town. Room had everything we needed.

OK but not greatPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
There were a few things about the hotel that left us dissatisfied, which is a shame, because it was a nice hotel: First, we tried to call the reception desk for half an hour (calling several times) before someone actually picked up. Second, we had breakfast each morning and each morning, the buffet wasn't continually filled - we often had to wait for items to be replenished. The standard pillows were awful - you could ring down for other types of pillows, but simply providing good ones at the start would be a much better service.
