Pine perfection

Pros: Pine woodwork. Modern and yet comfortable.
Location: Lots of good bars and restaurants along the front. Prices to suit all pockets.
We stayed two nights. Secure under cover parking for our hire car. Friendly service from Mel on the desk. Lots of literature and help in choosing what to do with our short time in queenstown.

Pros: extra pillows! very warm, nice view from room
Location: all queenstown attractions are within easy walking distance
Had a very enjoyable long weekend in Queenstown at the Coronation Lodge with my adult daughter. The room was very spacious and the complex lovely and quiet. Great dry parking underneath, but close enough to walk everywhere!

Pros: The staff and the room
Cons: If I was being really 'picky', I would say that the dining room is just a little bit basic, but the breakfast itself was very good.
Location: Although not very far from town, it is a fairly steep climb back to the Hotel, which wouldn't suit everyone.
We hadn't realised it, but this turned out to be the same hotel that we stayed in at Queenstown, some years previously. Our room was lovely - very spacious. The staff were really pleasant.

Excellent stay at coronation

The women who work at this lodge are fabulous, and incredibly helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Very clean. The free wifi is a definite plus. Since my trip was long, I was also thrilled to take advantage of the laundry facilities. The location is ideal, very close to the town center and everything you would want to do in town, but in a quiet location near the Gardens.

Overall great hotel

Posted Oct 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was great. The rooms were very nice and well appointed. They had great wood floors and were decorated in a comfortable and casual way - much better than a standard hotel chain. The location was also fantastic. It was just up the hill from the main commercial part of Queenstown - a quick 5 minute walk (if not less) to the action, but just far enough removed that you weren't in the middle of it...the best of both worlds as it was close to the action but in a relaxing environment.

Convenient place to stay.

Posted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: The comfortable bed.
Cons: Needed a larger drying space for snow gear.
Location: Walking distance to town. Perfect distance to stumble home from the pub. Close drive to some snow fields.
The staff where really friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The location was walking distance to town. We had no problems getting in and out of the place at any hour of the night even with snow gear. The only down side was I like a thicker pillow.

This was a fantastic hotel with very friendly and helpful service. They went out of their way to provide recommendations and personally cook breakfast and maintain rooms. It is only a 3 minute walk to town!

Convenient location, quiet

Location: Outdoor activities in a beautiful mountain village.
Small hotel with basic services but staff was wonderful and free parking is great with easy walking distance to downtown and waterfront. Room was clean and surroundings felt more like B&B.
