Great hotel location for easy airport access

Pros: Location, great staff, size of room, efficiency of heating, early breakfast.
Cons: Bed too soft for my comfort, bathroom a little tired
Location: All the Queenstown pubs, clubs for evening, all the ski slopes, walks, water based activities and mountains for day
Smooth check in, pleasant spacious room, good views of lake, adequately heated, bathroom worked well if a little tired in the decor stakes, very pleasant helpful staff, great early start for serving breakfast, easy proximity to airport and town.

Good value hotel in Queenstown

Pros: Clean, tidy and friendly staff
Cons: More parking would be helpful (although I appreciate this could be difficult to achieve). If you arrive late it can be difficult to find a park.
Location: Relatively close to the airport (5-10 min drive)
The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly (although often missing at the front desk early in the morning) :) I got the impression they were a little short staffed however we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was reasonably priced although for the breakfast meals (i.e. $12 eggs on toast) you had to pay an extra ($3.50) for coffee yet it was included in the $8 breakfast - this seemed strange that when you paid more for a meal that coffee wasn't included. The room was great with a nice view, beds were comfortable and warm and there was plenty of space for the two of us. The wall heater can be noisy in the night - just remember to turn it down when you go to sleep. :) We would definitely stay here again. Good value for money, friendly staff and a good location (if you have a car).

Nice view

It was a good experience. It would have been nice if there was a drinking water facility in the room instead of filling water from the sink in the toilet.

Handy to most places

Location: Had our own car but handy to buses
Lovely stay only thing that spoilt it was a noise guest not the hotels fault.

Pros: Price. Self employed and need to watch we spend on expenses. great value for money. if its around the same rate the next time we would stay again.
It was a pleasant enough room. Spacious for what we paid for it.

Good Location, Good View, and Good Value for Money

All the rooms face the Franton arm of Lake Wakatipu, as well as the Remarkable Mountain. View was fantastic. In-room facilities were adequate. Parking space is limited, and if you drive in and only then discover that there is no more parking lot, you have to make a minimum of six-point turn to reverse your car. I think this is the biggest weakness of this resort. Otherwise, the stay here is a pleasant one.

close to airport and city

Pros: The Hotel is both close to the airport and the city and also easy to drive out to both Sounds. We found the staff to be helpful.
Location: Close to airport and the city with good views

Great break away at Northshore

Cons: Happy with it all
Location: Weren't there long enough to do any exploring nearby, did some shopping in town then spent a few hours along the waterfront.
Great accommodation, would certainly stay there again. Easy access to and fro by bus from the CBD, only been to Auckland a couple of times so was great. Neat wee cafe around the corner for breakfast, lunch, plenty of places for an evening meal or takeaways within a couple of minutes walk. Hardly any traffic noise.

Fabulous Views

Room was dated looking, bordering on shabby, but was clean and as we were only staying one night was not a major issue. Good parking and a balcony with great views over the Lake. The staff/girls who were cleaning the rooms were helpful & just lovely, and as we did not use any of the hotel facilities cannot comment on anything or anyone else.
