Good location for peace and quiet

Great hotel and staff were very polite and helpful. Only negative was that the carpet in our room could have used a good wash as there were stains and looked a bit grubby. Apart from that the stay was excellent.

Gutes Hotel

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Zimmer und Pool
Cons: Frühstück ziemlich teuer
Location: Am Berg
Leider vom Stadtzentrum etwa 20 Minuten zu laufen. Auf den Rückweg zum Hotel, daran denken, dass es Bergauf geht. Taxi und Busservice vorhanden

Calm as Lavender

Posted Feb 7, 2015
A very peaceful town by the lake. I am overwhelmed by the fragrant lavender as part of the hotel property Warm, friendly ladies at the reception are so welcoming and so were the banquet staffs Souvenir shops is a bit of hassle to get to during the windy days. Just get $10 ready for a taxi to town or wait for a bus which arrives every half an hour. About 15-20 mins walk However, this is a reputable hotel to stay with classy interior and a very quiet environment together

A Heritage fan now...

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Cons: There was some dust in the bathroom but otherwise it was clean.
Location: A short drive and I'm sure walk to the town, everything was there.
We will definitely return to the Heritage at Queenstown! The room was great, the spa, the free underground secure parking, nice TV, the room service menu was lovely and the guest laundry was very handy. We loved the hotel so much we decided to stay at the one at Hanmer Springs and had a equally great experience. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 3 & 5. We shared a deluxe room, it worked really well for us.

A very pleasant stay

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Concierge were lovely and helped booked a number of trips and provided vouchers which made things very easy. Surroundings were lovely. Good breakfast.
Cons: Pool could be warmer. A ceiling fan or at least a floor fan would be good as there is no air-conditioning and it can be a little stuffy.
Location: A little bit out of town but could walk, there is a hill to climb. Great views of the lake.
I booked this hotel after cancelling another one a few days before our stay as we got an excellent price for staying here. The room was very clean, beds comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was we had a room with just a window and not a balcony. There seemed to be plenty of rooms available looking over the lake, garden or pool that maybe we could have been given without having to pay extra. The room was a bit warm with only a window. As we were staying 3 nights it would have been nice to use a balcony as somewhere else to sit as we had 4 of us in the room.

Love the location!

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Situated up on a hill with beautiful views of the lake and within a short walk to the heart of Queenstown. Everything was great with the exception of the concierge who really was clueless. Also if you have a third person staying in the same room their is an extra fee.

Great location terrible view

Posted Jan 10, 2015
The hotel is in a prime location but fails to utilise magnificent views on offer on the high hill overlooking the lake. It's a pity given that the accommodation market in Queenstown is very competitive and the Heritage is priced at the high end.
