Great views and great hostsPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hosts were very welcoming, great breakfasts, valuable tour advice. Approx 4km to Queenstown. Bed was comfortable and there is two options for rooms. One has own ensuite and corner views of remarkables. There is another room witha large window view and the bathroom is just outside the room. All rooms have own lock. They have as all tv and coffee and tea making facilities. Larch Hill is just like home away from home. Would recommend to couples.

Overall alrightPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Coming for the second time,a little disappointed ,the room looked tired and in need of updating compared to a lot of other places in Nz,a bit far from the centre, but it gave us the needed exercise along the lake.friendly stay.

Honeymooning couplePosted Jun 27, 2013
Pros: The attention to details.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer.
Location: South facing house up on a hill but still warm and cosy. Overlooks the lake with great views of the sun rise hitting the mountains.
Amazing! The room (tiki room) was superb, comfy, clean. It was a home away from home. The breakfast was divine! Very personalised service, we felt very special which was great as it was our honeymoon excursion. So easy going and laid back, we both felt so comfortable! The views! The attention to details. The help. Everything totally surpassed my expectations. Highly reccomended to all. Great atmosphere, particularly as a vacationing couple.

First class B&BPosted Apr 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Breakfast was bountiful with lots of choices: Healthy fruit and yoghurt or cereal, baked goods basket and/or a hot breakfast cooked to your liking. Very good coffee made with french press and lots of juices. Upon afternoon arrival tea was served. Magnificent views over the Frankton Arm near Queenstown from the sitting room and also the King room. Host and hostess provided lots of info of things to do and can book events for you.

Very comfy B&BPosted Apr 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Leslie and Chris, the proprietors were friendly and helpful. Their house was immaculate. Their breakfasts were wonderful: fresh baked bread, variety of cereals, fresh fruit/yogurt. There were fresh baked pastries too. Leslie made eggs to order. It was a wonderful place to stay in Queenstown. It was quiet, away from the bustling tourist area, which was fun to visit for food and shopping, but definitely not a place to stay. We loved Larch Inn and we would stay there if we traveled to NZ again!

WonderfulPosted Mar 5, 2013
The views of the mountains across the lake at dusk and at dawn are incomparable (picture attached). The garden is beautiful. Lesley and Chris are extremely kind and considerate and I found it altogether first class, I wish them all the very best.

Great HospitalityPosted Mar 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room was very small, but the view and fantastic hospitality made up for it. A little hard to find, but worth it.
