Location: The location is fab, close to town, only 5minutes walk, no car required yet it still feels your out of the way. Peaceful and quiet right on the lake
Love staying at Peppers Beacon the staff are all so lovely and friendly. Great for a weekend away as your very central, and no car required. We have stayed here both time we have come down for the Winter Festival.

Lack of hotel facilities, expensive internetPosted Jun 13, 2014
Average stay had hoped for a better experience when they advertised luxury accommodation and it didn't meet five star expectations.

Very nice hotel close to townPosted Jun 11, 2014
We had a great stay here with our 18 month old. Rooms were good quality and size. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast had a good range of food and they had highchairs available. The location is only about 5 minutes from town and the walk is along the lake, which is very scenic. Personally we didn't enjoy the food from the room service menu but then we only ordered an entrée and dessert, so cant comment on the mains. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and will book here again without hesitation on our next trip.

Weekend in Queenstown to experience winter .Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Everything, location and the service was wonderful.
Cons: In a fairly small room the only thing missing was a fan in the bathroom
Location: We have been to Queenstown before and wanted to be central because of it been Winter, we also wanted to walk into the township no matter how cold.
Excellent location, beautiful view , the rooms were spotless, and staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Nice location fabulous view spacious luxuriousPosted May 30, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness location view furnishing
Location: It has a perfect lake view and is only less than 10 minutes stroll to town centre.
Everything was perfect except the breakfast which was so so. It would also be much better if the hotel did not charge people extra for upgrading from continental buffet to full buffet. That was a bit stingy.

Close to Queenstown only about a 5-10 minute walkPosted May 28, 2014
Pros: The close proximity to town. The daily housekeeping. The Continental B/fast included in the room cost.
Cons: The linen provided was a little less than we would have liked and the towels a little tired.
Location: Location was great to the shops, dining and Lake trips.
A very comfortable room. We shared a 2 bedroom Garden View Unit with our Son who was visiting from the U.K. We enjoyed a Continental Breakfast each of the days we stayed and it was lovely. This was included in the room cost. The walking distance to town made it easy to leave the car in the Hotel Carpark and walk to town for Dinner and all of us enjoy a drink or two without the worry of driving.
