Spacious, modern and nice but....Posted Oct 19, 2014
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was very spacious however we could smell urine even before walking into the bathroom. They cleaned it the following day but there was still some smell and we didn't chase up on it. Parking is free but you need to park early to get under cover space. Otherwise you can park in the hotel side (no cover) or on the street. Overall the accommodation was very good and recommended.

Great hotel, gives top value for moneyPosted Sep 22, 2014
My partner and I went away for a long weekend and after staying in a sub par roadside hotel on the drive down, our room at Scenic Suites was a welcome sight. Lovely and modern with a very generously sized room and bathroom. We found it very hard to fault anything during our stay! The only thing that was slightly off was waking up to the neighbours returning home after a large night/morning! Will absolutely return and recommend to friends and family.

Nice hotel, close to town.Posted Sep 22, 2014
Great location, room was nicely setup. We were in the 'Remarkables' section of the hotel but it was a shame that you couldn't see it amongst the building around us. Reception was a bit far from our room, so it was like walking through a maze. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay there again.

Handy we'll equipped hotelPosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Bathroom with bath and shower
Cons: Tighter bottom sheet on bed as undressed easily
Location: Queenstown has so much to do. We fit in the dart river shot over tour which was the highlight. The usual fine dining offered great rewards.
Easy walk to queenstown central. Room was large and well equipped with comfy big beds and practical arm chairs. Good surprises include outdoor balcony furniture, clothes drying rack and toaster.

Very nice suite at a good pricePosted Sep 6, 2014
A good location just a short stroll from the centre of town although a bit of traffic noise so if youre not used to that you may want earplugs. Not too loud though and the suite was very spacious with everything in great condition. Comfy bed, good kitchen and nice view with friendly service.

Great location and servicePosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Clean, tidy, great location and the friendly staff.
Cons: Underfloor heating, a new lock on the ski locker and ottomans in the lounge room for when your relaxing on the lounge after a days skiing.
Location: Just a short stroll down the hill into the heart of Queenstown. Plenty of restaurants and it was lovely to walk around town after dinner.
We had a great stay and plan to go back next year. It's so close to the main shops, just a short stroll down the hill. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even advising us of the facilities around town. We were able to get our ski equipment delivered to the motel and locked up in the car park (thanks to the advise from the staff). We stayed an extra night due to being diverted the first day and the staff shuffled things around so we could stay in the same room. The restaurant food was very nice. I rang reception asking for extra supplies and they brought them straight up to the room. The rooms were clean and tidy and well equipped. I would recommend staying at the Scenic Suites Queenstown.

DIgs for a family ski tripPosted Aug 22, 2014
Cons: Better free wifi
Location: Quick walk into city down the hill
Pretty comfortable, poor wifi (only allowed 1 hour free - which must be continuous - per 24 hours - pretty archaic for 2014, especially with other places to stay that offer completely free and just as close in proximity). Room was of reasonable size, a bit on the cold side (even with the electrical heaters on). May consider it again, but worth other options considered. car park can fill up very quickly. Staff were helpful. Pokey design, have to go out in cold again once gone through main entrance.
