What a Pleasant Surprise

What a pleasant surprise. The reception staff were friendly and personable upon check in and freely answered our questions about the area and things to do. The room was just how it was represented on the web site. The pool was impressive and unexpected. The concierge service was professional and knowledgeable. The service staff in the restaurant have some things to learn about customer service; slightly frustrating to have to ask for a coffee refill 3 times and still sit with an empty cup. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again without hesitation.

Dont stay in this hotel: dangerous and noisy area

Dont stay in this hotel. It is located in a corner next to a licuor store and at night It is dangerous to walk by. The drunks outside are very noisy and It is very hard to sleep un tío 5:00am. Avoid the place

The store in the corner is a super market and yes they sale licor too but is also very convinience for our guest to look for personal items. We are located in the main street of Quepos Downtown were you can easy walk to the Marina, to local restaurants and galleries.

Gracias por el comentario. Manuel Antonio esta a solo 7 kilometros de la ciudad de Quepos, la parada de buses esta a 2 cuadras del hotel y el servicio es bueno incluso te llevan la tabla de surf, sale cada 20 minutos y solo cobra 1 dollar.

Bon accueil et belle situation en face de l'océan. Restaurant très correct d'où l'on peut voir le soleil se coucher à l'horizon (idem pour petit-dej). En revanche, chambre assez petite, mal agencée, vue côté piscine sans balcon privatif,et qui mériterait un sérieux rafraîchissement.

NOISE NOISE NOISE

Pros: Central location
One nite stay. Room on 2nd floor had to access from outside balcony. Room was under dining room and above casino bar. Chairs stopped scraping floor abot 10PM, then bar noise and shouting on sidewalk continued until 4AM. Chair noise in dining room started up at 5AM. No sleep..Stay away from room 201.

I was expecting a nicer hotel. The location is ok, but there seemed to be a lot of older men coming to Quepos and staying at this hotel for the wrong reason. The room was clean but very small. Also, when I went to the hotel restaurant, it took forever to be served.

Excellent Stay

Location: Manuel Antonio 7 Kms away is a paradise, great dinning options, super friendly people
The Staff, super Friendly, helpful and pleasant. rooms are OK and the complimentary B-fast is great. I definitely would stay here again

Fantastic stay!

I really enjoyed my time in Quepos and pleased that I chose the Best Western. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was great. I loved the restaurant too and the staff in there were great too. It is in an excellent location. Not a bad word to say!

Stay away!

We spent 2 nights in a walk-in closet with no window or access to outside air, with a door to some kind of small gallery overlooking the lobby and pumping the air conditioner fumes into our room. This "room" had one double bed and one wooden chair, no space for anything else, coffee maker in the toilet, next to the toilet bowl. We prepaid a regular two bed room which were available in the hotel but for a charge of about $100 we received some storage closet not fit for human inhabitation. The front desk person told us since we are married we can sleep together, he was rude and unwilling to address our concerns. We were told that the price is the same and refused the change. Basically we prepaid Mercedes but the dealer delivered Hyundai because the price is the same and Hyundai will be more appropriate for us. The reception staff are arrogant and unhelpful. The hotel is clean, breakfast quite good, but if something does not go smoothly you will receive no assistance. Our room qualified for some backpackers hostel for $15 a night, not the charges we paid. The hotel has regular acceptable rooms as well.

As the sales manager I like to know about this issues in the moment to try to fix them. Next time you are here let me know and if because of this problem you decide not to stay here again I want to give you an advice: When you feel the front desk rude please ask for the manager on duty, the operations manager or the sales manager. There is no way I can help you now and I feel so sorry for the inconvinience. Please consider another stay and mention the above issues to treat you as how you deserved.
