“Great place to stay!”

The hotel was great and the staff could not have been nicer. Our only issue was cell phone reception (or lack of it..) but we stayed in the Vista Suites and the internet connection was great--no drops at all.

“Peaceful stay”

The staff was on top of everything and very helpful. The food is very good compared to the not so good food outside the hotel. It was very peaceful and enjoyable.

“We miss being there already!”

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were really helpful and were super nice to my kids -- a big plus. The breakfast they served was pretty good. It covers all the basics- typical Costa Rican breakfast, fresh fruits, waffles, etc. The location was perfect if you want to stay around Manuel Antonio/Quepos area -- it was close to the beach (a nice walking distance outside of the hotel) and the national park (they have a shuttle that will take you there) but if you want to eat outside of the hotel it is quite a walk so we recommend renting a car or taking a cab. My family loves their pool and the beach that is close by (the views of the ocean was memorable). If you want to see some wildlife you don't have to go far. We have seen more monkeys (howler, white-faced capuchins, and squirrel monkeys), iguanas, birds and butterflies there than in the park! I highly recommend this hotel especially if you have kids!

“Fun Family Get Away”

Hotel Parador helped to make this the best family vacation ever! That is what my nine year old daughter and eleven year old son would tell you. The staff was incredibly helpful whether it was directing us to the best restaurants in the area or booking our excursions. We didn't eat many meals other than breakfast at the hotel. The food there is only mediocre for the price you pay. But make sure you visit Diego at the pool bar and restaurant up by the waterfall pool. It is a great place to have lunch one afternoon and the view is incredible. We booked all of our excursion once we got to the hotel and the kids enjoyed atving, the canopy tour but most especially the white water rafting! Make sure you book a room with a view. The garden and jungle view are just that with no ocean view. It's worth it!!

“We loved the Hotel Parador!”

The hotel Parador was a dream come true. We loved it! the view is incredible and the pool is beautiful with a swim up bar (or as my 6 year old said it "we have a cafe in our pool!"). It was wonderful. I can't say enough good about it. we were there with our 6 year old daughter and there were several other families there so there were plenty of kids for her to play with in the pool. it's a great hotel and the staff are very attentive and wonderful.

“Lovely place to stay”

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly, the hotel and grounds were lovely and well maintained. The breakfast in the morning, which was included, was great - many fine choices. The pool areas were beautiful. The tour desk was helpful in arranging some very nice tours particularly the catamaran tour. Every morning we had coffee and watched birds, hummingbirds, monkeys from our patio - very peaceful.

“Snorkel at the Biesanz Beach is a must”

The experience overall was great. We had a room mixed up and after some back and forth, they rectified the situation (you need to call their customer service, not the front desk) so it speaks highly of their customer service. The hotel property was very pretty. After driving 5 hours partly through unpaved roads from Monteverde, a few hours in the pool and few cold drinks cured us. The views from the hotel were excellent esp from the pool and restaurant areas, the breakfast buffet was good enough (not like the great ones in Vegas). Room was generally clean and in good condition. We LOVED the access to Biesanz Beach and snorkeled there. The hotel provided a ride on a golf cart part way. That beach was as fun for us as the ones inside Manual Antonio Park.

“Very cool place”

Very cool place. The drive to the hotel was interesting in the dark as the roads are narrow and steep but well worth the effort. Hotel had everything for those who don't feel like leaving including a beautiful beach within walking distance, hiking trail, good food, pool and bar. Only thing missing was a jacuzzi. Highly recommend.
