This hotel was fabulous! Phenomenal hotel staff, loved William, very friendly and concerned about your stay. They offer complimentary classes such as planting a tree or learning how to make Costa Rican tortillas. We did the tortilla class and they took us back to the living quarters of the hotel staff, show us where they live and eat before the class. I was amazed as to how detailed and clean their quarters were. Much cleaner than my own house LOL! And there are over 100 hotel staff that live there. The class was interesting and one of our favorite experiences of the trip.
The hotel lies on the side of a jungle mountain that connects to two beaches. One beach has strong waves and currents for the adults, the other is mild, perfect for children. Both are spectacular. Both beaches have a lifeguard and 24 security. Area around the hotel if full of jungle wildlife that never pester the guests but are close enough to enjoy. I will definitely return to this hotel!

I had an amazing experience. The absolute best service and facilities. I really enjoyed the service from the front desk staff (Jonathan and Javier I think. The two guys with hair were fantastic, but the bald guy was just okay). The young lady who served breakfast was so welcoming and kind. She didn't receive tip very often, but treated us like guest in her own home. The rooms were the best. So artistic and absolutely immaculate. The were very very spacious. I could totally live there.

Hotel has excellent services, rooms with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, island with barstools, table seats 6, balcony and full kitchen are stunning. The staff, pool, restaurant are all very nice. Zero need for a car - easy taxis, bus and staff coordinated for any activities and were very accommodating to schedule even on late notice.

"An incredible introduction to a wonderful country."
Could not say enough about the staff at this hotel. They are very proud and want nothing other than to please. They gave us so much information about where to go and and what to do, and were all excellent suggestions. Staff made even made arrangements at no cost to have our l8 year old go out with other people while we just wanted to relax. Kayak tours in the mangroves a worth while experience. Place is a ten minute drive to Quepos, and Manuel Antonio Park. Nice to get out of the tourist trap, Very clean, updated, and they have a delicious breakfast Would strongly recommend and go back.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. You can see ocean thru the trees from your room or patio and hear it all the time. Elisabeth and Bernard are wonderful owners that pay attention to every detail of the place and your stay to make sure it is your very best. They keep the hotel and grounds in perfect shape all the time. The rooms are clean and well maintained. You will love the patio area seating outside for breakfast and dinner. Here is the icing on the cake you get a great French Chef. We recommend you eat at the hotel every night. You will not find better food in the area. Please be sure to arrive during the day and do not drive at night unless you are use to small roads. There are people and cars all over the place. It is pitch black and hard to see at night, no road lines or lights in places. Oh, by the way the side roads are gravel, not paved like the main road. The pedestrian have the right of way all the time and they take it. Remember you are in a third world country but the drinking water sweet. Oh, the mountains are close by but you have to travel by gravel road use a 4x4 vehicle and plan on taking 4 to 6 hours. It is beautiful on top and you can see the ocean.

The hotel is beautiful. The main pool is so awesome; it's the sickest pool I had ever seen. It's close to a small secluded beach that you can walk to. This beach in my opinion is much better than the public beach in MA park. My husband and I did a night walk tour on Parador's property for $25 per person. We both enjoyed the tour. You can't get to any restaurants without a taxi. But most of the tours you do include a meal. And Parador's main restaurant has a really good lunch menu for a reasonable price; you can even order lunch menu during dinner time. Order the fish taco, seafood ceviche, and savory chicken crepe. These were my favorite dishes from them approxi $12-$15 each dish. We also paid around $30 for a steak dish and $20 for a pasta for dinner; but we weren't impressed. So lunch is cheaper and better. I saw black iguanas on the property and vultures that came to my balcony often. I ordered a mixed drink from the swim up bar; it was the best mixed drink ever. however the next day I ordered the exact same drink from another bartender from the main bar. He made the drink so gross that I couldn't even finish it. The good bartender was the skinnier one with darker skin than the other guy. My favorite time spent at MA was when my hubby and I were chilling at the hotel pool or taking a nap on our private balcony. We had a huge balcony; we got lucky. With all these being said. Enjoy your stay.
