there was no one to check-in, and the guard had no idea that guests were to arrive that day, apparently the owners don't have an easy way to contact them since their cellphones are always off and the hotel phone was disconnected, when we decided to leave the owner call and when I mentioned I had a reservation he said: OK... that's fine you can use one of the villas, so apparently he knew but didn't care... at the end we found out they are selling the property so they really not mind about guests...

Rustic and cutePosted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: More or less everything
Cons: A little better stocked kitchen (plates, cups, etc) And a curtain that covers the whole window in the living room/kitchen/second bedroom
Location: Beaches, Manuel Antonio National Park
There were four of us staying in Oceano Villas and we enjoyed it. It's very simple but you have everything you need. The view from the terrace is plain breathtaking. If you plan on staying there keep in mind that this is a one bedroom villa. AC is only in the bedroom. We didn't have any problems at night but it can get quite hot.

Posted Jan 2, 2015 on Hotels.com

Posted Dec 31, 2014 on Hotels.com

Impossible to find.No taxi driver knew where it was.I speak fluent Spanish so the language was not the issue. There is no sign. Please put in your booking info that one must ask at restaurant Salisepuedas for Oisis. The villa overlooks the ocean and there are beautiful plants.A sloth was in the tree right off our deck.Sunsets were beautiful from deck. There is a kitchen with many supplies so one can prepare food at home.

Nice place, i'd go back.Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: The easy going staff from the restaurant.
Cons: Price could be lower as usual, but this was peak season, on week-end with pretty much nothing left.
To find it faster, you better ask for the "Salsipuedes" restaurant. They are right behind it. One brother owns the restaurant and the other the villas. Miguel (the owner of the restaurant) is super friendly and so is all the staff from the restaurant. I made it my home (i had to work on my computer over the days) and the internet in the restaurant was super good. Facetime no problem. The villa is more than a hotel room, little kitchen, TV with couch, etc. A little rustic, but clean. The shower was simple, I had way to much hot water... hahaha. Quiet at night, the AC very in very good condition, very powerfull etc. I stayed in the villa no 1. If you can ask for it, go for it : ) it is half way between Quepos and Manual Antonio, on the top of the mountain, so a super view. Using the bus (50 cents, every 15 minutes) is very usefull to get around.
