Good value
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Our stay at the Falls was pleasant. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the location was great in relation to Manuel Antonio National Park, and the restaurant was pretty good. The amenities were limited, the WIFI was very weak and did not work in our room, and the pool area was unimpressive with a tiny above ground hot tub that didn't seem to work. We paid $120 per night and were overall pleased for the value we received for that price.

Fantastic place: The Falls Resort
Posted Jan 30, 2013
Pros: The staff seemed like family
Cons: Some mosquito bites
Location: Very good location. Close to many useful things.
The Falls is a fantastic place to stay in Costa Rica. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodations are excellent. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance. One of the best restaurants is the restaurant at the Falls. They have king size beds. There are lots of wild life on the property. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Hamoc, nature.
Cons: Camera disappeared at the pool...:(
Nicely located, close to "El Avion" restaurant. Could see some monkeys. Pool is small but nice. Would return.

Best hotel in Costa Rica
Posted Jan 27, 2013
Pros: Room and location
Cons: All great
Location: Great location to get everywhere in Manuel Antonio
Really lovely hotel. Room was lovely with a hammock on the terrace looking out over the grounds which were gorgeous with lots of animals. Felt like a more luxury hotel than the price indicated. Staff all great, organised to post us our camera that we left behind. Great location near lots of restaurants and the bus goes from right outside to the beach and reserve. Breakfast buffet plus hot choices was delicious. Monkeys run through the grounds every day.

Very beautiful place

Very beautiful place, luxurious gardens. Monkeys were coming and going. Pool very clean. Breakfast very generous and good. Very hard to bring our luggages in our room (stairs), we had scuba diving equipment (heavy) and they never helped us for transportation of any luggage.

The rooms are great - the deluxe room is more but the standard room is better!

my room was large and modern. Very beautiful setting and friendly front dest service. The waiter in the restaurant was not very friendly, that's the only negative thing I can say about this nice hotel.

In a good position for national park. The food was exccellent , breakfast prepared when ordered so always hot. All lunches and dinners delicious. Stayed 4 nights in feb. The area was very busy if compared with other national parks but great for beaches.

The pool area was a lot smaller than expected, but overall it was a nice, relaxing stay.

Amazing Tropical Hotel

Staying at The Falls was the highlight of our hotel experience in Costa Rica. We essentially had what felt like a "guest house" - a huge room with a mosquito net that added to the ambiance, a giant bathroom with monkey's running around outside, and a deck complete with chairs, table, and a hammock! The staff was awesome, providing great recommendations on activities and food in the area and were just a pleasure to talk to. There are fun and tasty restaurants within a short walk and Manuel Antonio Park is just down the hill. Can't ask for anything better!!!
