The restaurants don’t have central heating …so they were freezing! My 98 year old aunt had to leave the hotel. It was too cold for her to dine with -4 Celsius inside temperatures!

The property itself is beautiful and well mainained. Service needs improvement. I was not asked to leave a credit card for incidentals. No service for luggage. Only 1 key per room. You have to find the way to your room. Waiter at the restaurant seemed overwhelmed, it took a long time to get cream for coffee. The business center has a printer that does not print because it needs a pin # and nobody knows the pin #. The staff needs to communicate better with the guests. Front desk staff seems aloof.

The quality of the hotel has dropped drastically. Rooms need an urgent update. But my main concern was the front desk service. I was treated unfairly and with no respect.. my check in was awesome an the lady that help me was very polite but check out was terrible. A male front desk attendant was very rude and I heard from other guest the same opinion. He needs more training.

Beautiful setting very unkept and dirty rooms.
It was a disappointing experience. The place initself is beautiful. Inside the hotel and the rooms you can tell that it lacks maintenance and cleanliness. The carpet in our room was filthy, stained and the corners were full of crumbs and dust. The good we can concede was the service. People were very friendly willing to serve. Won't be going back though.

I decided to go to this hotel with a group of friends and the place seemed very nice. I couldn’t be more wrong. We rented two rooms next to each other so we could be close, but we ended up being in two completely different areas. I had to be moved out of the first room because there were leaks in the bathroom, which caused an insane and very disgusting amount of mold; the door in the second room didn’t work and anyone could enter; and in the third room the AC didn’t work. In my friends’ room the fan didn’t work and the bathroom was quite dirty. After three rooms in two days I just gave up and left. A weekend that was supposed to be fun with my friends ended up being a nightmare. The staff -although apologetic- is not helpful. Bernardo, who did my check out didn’t take criticism well and was about to be very rude when I told him my experience. It is definitely not a hotel I will be going back.

I traveled with my elder mother and special needs daughter. They're both in a wheelchair, the rooms were spacious and there was good access for them. I loved the feel of the hacienda, the food was great, the staff helpful and willing to accommodate. I loved my stay.

the old Hacienda is amazing, the wagons collection, the gardens and all the areas are great. Only has one restaurant and the service is very slow !!

Overpriced for what it is
There is no doubts its a fancy Hacienda, but the size of rooms are indeed too small for the price charged. Besides this detail, the breakfast was great and lots of variety.

A beautiful hacienda, beautiful grounds, and wonderful restaurant. The restaurant staff in particular deserves special mention for being so cordial, attentive, and gracious.
