Hermosa casa

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: El cuarto, una habitación muy amplia con techo alto y terraza interior, muy iluminado, con todos los detalles cuidados.
Cons: La caja fuerte, es muy pequeña no cabe una computadora.
Location: Restaurants, bares, tours, iglesias.

Wonderful mini vacation in the heart of Queretaro

Posted Mar 22, 2015
A beautifully restored mansion that is comfortable, quiet, personal with a very friendly and attentive staff. Right in the center of the old town, La Casa is very conveniently located and yet provides a welcome refuge within its walls anytime one wants it. Queretaro is a gorgeous historic city, incredibly well preserved and very clean unlike most Latin American colonial towns. La Casa is a good place to experience Queretaro. Sounds of the piano wafting into one's room are lovely. Small suggestion to the pianist would be to widen his musical horizons. Parking of car in nearby car park is convenient with the help of the hotel staff. One caution would be to clarify hours for car park and to do so way ahead, especially if you need access before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m.

Beautiful old colonial mansion

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Super nice grand hotel perfectly located in the walking centre of downtown Queretaro , it was a five star experience. The only complaint is that it is quite noisy at night, people talking loudly on the busy street, and there are many church bells to be heard quite often, but that's the price to pay for such a great location. We loved it and would go back!!

Old town gem

Posted Feb 17, 2015 on Hotels.com
You step through the doors and are transported into a different world. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in an amazing old building and all the rooms are different. Most staff spoke English so my lack of Spanish wasn't a problem. It was a great alternative to the usual drab business hotel. The roads and buildings around had a European feel about it and the gardens nearby had beautiful old ficus trees.
