A little outdatedPosted Nov 26, 2013
Needs an overhaul. Continental breakfast was good, lots of variety. My room was very cold on arrival. It would be very easy for motel owners to warm up a room for their guests. It took almost two hours for the room to be comfortably warm.

I would not recommend this hotel!Posted Oct 16, 2013
We stayed over 1 night and the next morning went out at 8 am for breakfast to a nearby restaurant. We did not check out. We returned to the hotel to pick up a few things we had left and to use the bathroom and freshen up before we went to an appointment. The staff had already started cleaning the rooms, the linens were removed and the staff were vacuuming. When we said we hadn't checked out and thought we had until 11 am to do so the cleaning staff said 'oh sorry, go ahead and use the room' But everything was pulled apart for cleaning so we just got our stuff and left - just saying, it was not a good experience. The room was just OK

Good, but on the noisy sidePosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: The owners treated us with courtesy, the bedding was comfortable, and there was a heated indoor pool.
Cons: More healthy options at breakfast such as skim milk, nonfat yogurt, light cream cheese, and whole grain breads/bagels. Provide earplugs in the bedroom
Location: A 5-minute walk from the river walk trail that goes around town. Walking distance to park, arena, movie theatre, restaurants, and shopping.
This was our second time at this motel. We stayed for two nights from Aug 28-30/13. The room that we were given this stay was considerably bigger than last year, with a little table by the windows. The pluses: comfortable beds and pillows, spacious, polite staff, and proximity to downtown. The downside: creaky floor, loud a/c, loud bathroom fan, and noisy traffic as motel is right beside the highway. Loved that breakfast and free wifi were included, but the food was nothing to rave about and the wifi connection was often slow/spotty.

Travel Lodge Quesnel August 2013Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed there again after this stay. Stayed at another 2 star. Travel Lodge is definetly worth the extra $5.00. When booking, ask to stay in the back, away from the street noise.

Nice stay ! Reasonably quiet for being beside the Trans Canada Highway! Really liked the Motel setup! We would recommend the Quesnell Tavel Lodge!

Service with a smilePosted May 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owners were very friendly. They happily talked us through how to operate the TV and told us of a lovely long trail that wraps around the town. They even offered to make waffles to add to the free continental breakfast.

Convenient locationPosted Dec 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
We had a very quiet, private room that was very clean even though the fixtures were dated. The management was very friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was that the sink in the bathroom had a slight leak.

Friendly PlacePosted Sep 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
A bit noisy from road traffic but friendliness and service more than made up for it.
