One night stay

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Visiting family so only stayed one night. Staff was vet friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and very clean as was bathroom. Only thing lacking in the bathroom was a magnifying cosmetic mirror. Would and probably will stay there again.

Nice hotel

Right off of the Quincy Adams T. Good pricing. Extra $15 fee to park car. Water bottles in room not complimentary. Clean and large rooms. Nice bathroom. Good room service and hotel staff. Great stay overall

Visiting friends for the weekend

Posted Mar 6, 2015
We arrived on a Friday evening, leaving Sunday morning. Check in was easy, staff pleasant. Pool was nice, workout facilities great, and free parking (isn't that the rarest of things these days!) Didn't eat at the hotel, but grabbed Starbucks each morning in the breakfast area. No wiggle room on getting an early Starbucks though...they don't budge on times, just fyi. We plan to return in the Fall.

Lovely visit and a short stay.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable. Great location. Clean and neat.
Cons: Wifi in the rooms
Location: Plenty to do. Easy access to the highway. Close to the city.
The staff was dealing with all of the recent snow and preparing for another blizzard and still managed to make us feel very welcome.

Great Hotel in Boston

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness, location, atmosphere and restaurants inside the hotel were very impressive.
Cons: I did not find anything needing improvement
Location: Because of the impending blizzard and the intense snow accumulation in the area we did not have a chance to do anything during our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Boston Marriott in Quincy Ma. The room was very clean and the bead was very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly, efficient and courteous. We were scheduled to stay for 2 days but the impending Snow Blizzard impacted our decision to stay and we headed out of Boston just in time to beat the snow, extreme cold and high winds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Boston and booking it through Expedia proved to be valuable for us. I will use Expedia when we travel again.

We really appreciate the positive remarks. I am sure you are aware that we have been getting unprecedented amounts of snow in the Boston area, and unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be letting up any time soon. Hope to see you in the spring when you are able to enjoy the surrounding area!

Could not get assistance with luggage and bellman was flippant and disrespectful. No hair dryer in the room. Shower water pressure was awful

tom, My apologies for the less than warm reception you received at the Quincy Marriott. I will be sure to review with the team, and have engineering look in to the water pressure as this is not something that comes up often. For future visits, which I hope there will be, our hairdryers are located in bags in the closet.

Didn't cut the Mustard

Parking is high. you have to self-park in a huge lot . The price in Boston would get me valet service. 3. They charge a high price for WIFI. This is unacceptable and borderline insane. This is 2015 and internet is expected at a hotel. Even McDonalds has free Wi-Fi. I fully understand that a hotel cannot control the actions of their guests. However, they do have full control to how they respond to the event. That is what is called CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to call the front desk on two occasions to complain about a loud rowdy group on my floor. These guests were screaming, and running up and down the hallways, slamming doors, pounding feet. I appreciated the front desk sending up a security guard to speak to the group but I basically kissed my night of sleep good bye. What was Quincy Marriott’s response to my disturbed night of sleep? Well they were so generous to give me a complimentary Starbucks beverage of my choice. Well folks, let me tell you after dropping alot of money that night/ (between hotel and restaurant). The complimentary coffee was a nice touch. {Yes this is sarcasm}. 1 complimentary coffee???? Let me tell ya, my boyfriend and I made sure to lap up every ounce of that 1 and yes emphasize 1 complimentary coffee. Pathetic. Going into my memory bank, and I do recall staying in a lot of hotels that normally offer a complimentary cup of coffee to begin with.

Michael, We are very sorry you were not satisfied with your most recent visit. I was happy to see that the associate attempted to remedy the situation by offering compensation, but can understand the further disappointment given the circumstances and the offer given. We hope you choose to stay at the Boston Marriott Quincy in the future so we have the opportunity to change your opinion of our hotel.

This hotel is 30 min away from Boston, close to shopping and restaurants. Ideal for couples, and family, really anyone. Located on a hill, with a nice view of the city, but away from the crowd. Recommend it, and would come back again. Wish the breakfast had more variety and better prepared.

Thank you for the review. Depending on traffic it may only take you 15 minutes to get to Boston. We enjoy the best of both worlds in Quincy!
