The hotel was clean and in a decent location, the neighborhood wasn't great but it was one of the closest to downtown.
I chose this hotel, in large part for the shuttle. A few days before my arrival I emailed the hotel to confirm the shuttle would pick me up, all 5 went unanswered, and no one picked me up. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel ($8), which as it turns out is cheaper than their shuttle ($15).
The staff was lacking:
*at breakfast someone would walk around pouring coffee, until they would disappear. I found my coffee pourer eating in the kitchen.
*when I asked about a bus to the city, I was sent on a wild goose chaise, turns out the bus stop was right around the corner.
*when I asked about my 5 unanswered emails, I was told I must have been using the wrong address. I pointed out that I used the one one their website, they said someone must have typed it wrong. Upon my suggestion that they look into that, I was ignored.
