Kolonialt hotell i centrumPosted Jul 24, 2014
Ganska små, men mycket vackra, rum. Rummen är mycket individuella (olika stil och standard). Kolla vilket rum du bokar! Trevlig personal, god frukost, bra städning. Säkert, ingen stöldrisk.

We had a lovely time in this quaint very old building lovingly restored. Old Quito felt more safe then on previous visits.

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel. Service was extremely caring and helpful. It is in a perfect location for walking around the old part of the city.

Nice boutique hotel with characterPosted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: Genuinely warm and helpful staff; convenient location; quiet ambience.
Cons: The hotel should consider stocking its bathrooms with face towels.
Location: This hotel is nearly in the heart of Old Town Quito, so all of the attractions there are within walking distance. Cabs are needed for longer trips.
We stayed here 3 nights. The room was large, the bathroom small. Our bed was quite comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel main floor consists of the small reception desk and large sitting rooms that you'd expect in a former residence. The rooms are located on the second and third floors, with the top floor occupied by its owner. There is no elevator. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful. Not only did they interface with the airline when one of our bags was lost for a few days, they even helped us with onward domestic airline reservations. The owner was very gracious and even offered to help with missing prescriptions due to the lost luggage. The breakfast staff attended to our every need (copious morning coffee, warm freshly baked breakfast rolls and croissants). The hotel was a few blocks from the main square on a relatively quiet street, and was most convenient for walking tours of the Old Town of Quito. We would definitely stay here again were we to return to Quito.

if you like a unique and classic place to stayPosted Mar 18, 2014
The staff were quite accommodating and very sincere. Went overboard with their desires to help and please. Facility was charming and made the time spent on old town fell even more authentic.

Beautiful historic hotel in historic centerPosted Oct 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was passing through Quito on business and didn't have particularly high expectations - I was just looking for somewhere clean and more or less comfortable. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The interior was beautiful - the patio had views of the city, and the common areas were appointed with interesting furniture and books. There are numerous large areas for relaxing, which would also be appropriate for small business functions. The hotel is just a few blocks from the main plaza and the ronda neighborhood, and the price was excellent. My (Ecuadoran) coworkers were impressed by the hotel as well, and plan to recommend it to travelers in the future.

Close to all must-see sights for surePosted Mar 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was disappointed in our attic room - I misunderstood the hotel website and thought the numbers presented were for the number of windows in the room - instead, it was for the number of beds. I suppose since I said 3, that is why we ended up with attic room with VERY narrow stairs up to the room itself. I also thought they were cheap with toweling for two people and the towels themselves were uncomfortable to use with huge family crests embellishing them. The service was impeccable and the owner a real jewel. The other true negative to the beautiful place is no central heat so I was always cold and the low lighting in common areas because of all the antiquities. The food was good in the dining room, but we felt lonely most of our stay because people did not gather in the common areas.

Gem in the heart of Old TownPosted Dec 31, 2012
Pros: Beautiful Colonial architecture and cozy!
Cons: Sometimes staff aren't around and you have to hunt them down in the restaurant.
Location: Great location
Amazing Gem in the heart of Old Town. The night we arrived the host escorted us down the street to introduce us to a Vegetarian restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very unique but comfortable.
