Beautiful Hotel in Center of Historic District

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Walking through the door felt like stepping back in time with the staff dressed in historic costumes. But the service was first class for today. Even in the midst of a busy day because of the festival in celebration of the inauguration of Quito, the staff made sure I was able to get taxis to go visiting and leaving for the Airport, even walking me to meet up with the taxi when the streets were blocked too much for the taxi to come around front. The location is perfectly situated to walk to most of the major tourist suites, the Basilica, Ronda, Plaza Grande, etc. I highly recommend the Hotel Patio Andaluz for a little bit of Spain, a little bit of history, and a lot of great service in Historic Quito Center.

Very nice old house in the historic area of Quito

Posted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: Everything
Old 400 plus year old house converted into an excellent BOUTIQUE hotel. Not for the people who want everything modern, but for those who appreciate old world charm.

First Class Hotel in Quito

Posted Nov 29, 2014
In the heart of the old city, this is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The accommodation, food and ambience are exceptional. Its proximity to all the sights of the old city is a bonus.

Very pleasant hotel superbly located in the "Centr

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Superb location, friendly staff, good food and relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would help those of us over forty.
Location: The old city is right on the doorstep. The guayasimin museum is twenty minutes away by taxi and is well worth a visit, with its temple to humanity.
We arrived in the rainy season and it was very pleasant to have the Hotel so near the attractions of the historic centre of Quito. Whenever thr rain got to heavy we could quickly get back to our very pleasant room to relax. The room itself was very comfortable with the added feature of being able to sit in the very spacious and comfortable balcony of the inner patio.

Great experience

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Spotlessly clean! Wonderful breakfast and very comfortable beds
Location: The hotel is in el centro with easy walking to shops, restaurants, and museums. Only a couple of blocks to see the presidential palace
I planned to stay at Patio Andaluz for one day. I was passing through Quito on my way to Cuenca and decided to stay over a day to see friends. I ended up staying 2 days because of a canceled airline flight. It couldn't have been more pleasant!
