The property is old and under-maintained. The rooms are lacking basic amenities. Based on the unbearable construction noise (8:00-17:00), we were led to believe the property was under renovation. Too bad it was on the floor above our room.
There is a super loud club across the street - Club Sushi - that blasts music from 10 PM to ~2 AM. If you are in a room facing the road, you will hear it. Loud and clear. Did I mention the old facility, poorly isolated rooms?
On the weekend, the casino club and bar in the hotel open as well. You’ll have an opportunity to choose the DJ you like most.
To get away from the noisy construction and booming clubbing, we were asked to pay for a room upgrade (Literally doubling the price per night) which was better but still on the noisy street side.
If it weren’t very close the the family we were visiting, we’d never go back to Hotel Quito.
