Excellent hotel for a beatifull city

Posted Jan 11, 2015
This is a write place, no noisy, close to main places and shopping. Nice installations, with many restaurants, and very good gym and swiming installations. No spectacular views from the room.

OK for one night stay

Posted Dec 30, 2014
It's below the usual Marriott experience. Tried to arrange airport shuttle, which according to hotel website and Expedia, was available at $10 per person, and was told by travel agent that it's wasn't available. Need to use taxi from the airport which was fine. At the hotel concierge and tried to arrange shuttle back to airport the next morning, and was directed to right outside the hotel to a line of waiting taxis. So, there was no shuttle service by the hotel. The facility was clean but dated and worn. The shower door didn't close properly. But for one night layover, it's tolerable.

Pleasant Hotel to stay ahead of Galapagos trip

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Lots of vases with roses
Pleasant Hotel to stay ahead of Galapagos trip. Everyone speaks English and taxis are always around. Around the corner easy to reach breakfast restaurants or well-known fast food places.

predictable

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: beds are comfortable, gym is very good, has nice outside pool area
Cons: check in and out is very slow - not enough staff
Location: Indian restaurant nearby is great - 5 mins walk
like most other Marriotts, you will certainly feel at home but there won't be any local color - you could be in any one of the many you find in the States which is a bit of a shame considering Quito is so special.

Not worthm. Better options at much lesser rates.

Absolutely not acceptable having to pay for internet access at a hotel of this rate category. Over rated breakfast for the amount charged. Never again.
