Nice Hotel But...Posted Mar 29, 2015
Nice hotel but was extremely noisy, as I had a room next to the street. Car noises, sirens, policemen whistles, etc. Nice location for walking to the Historic District.

Nice old classic hotel in historic districtPosted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Roof top restaurant is a bonus with nice views of the plaza. Breakfast was great every morning with a couple of sampler Ecuadorian dishes to try also.
Cons: Ala carte meals in restaurant were very hit and miss - quality could be improved.
Location: Right in heart of Quito - everything was within walking distance.
Stayed in Manuela Sains suite - nice with tons of room but no coffee maker or fridge. However - the room otherwise was very comfortable with great views of historic Quito. Bring earphones as street noise is excessive!

Location and great viewPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Location and gorgeous view over the old Quito
Cons: A safe in the room.
Location: Great location and lots of restaurants nearby,
Top location and top view is what made this hotel my choice. Rooms have all you need : a clean comfy bed and a bathroom. Fairly good value for money. Would recommend and would go back there on my next visit to Quito.

Quito visitPosted Jan 21, 2015 on Hotels.com
excellent location in the heart of the historical area. Front desk (female) spoke very good English, was knowledgable about everything in the area plus transportation in and about the city. I recommend this hotel highly.

1 day stayPosted Dec 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very short stay, just one night but the staff were helpful and the room was great. Great view from the hotel restaurant, and right in the middle of old town. They even packed a breakfast bag for us because we checked out very early in the morning. The only thing I would say is if you book a cab through the hotel to get picked up from the airport, it is $45, but if you just get a cab from the airport when you land its, only $26 so I would suggest getting a cab at the airport.

Nice hotel in heart of Old Town.Posted Dec 11, 2014
Friendly staff, lovely rooftop restaurant with views, clean rooms, king bed and excellent service. Transfer and breakfast to go was fantastic. Our driver Pepe was a wonderful friendly and knowledgeable local who topped off our trip to Quito.

Great location in Old Town Quito.Posted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: Staff, location...within walking distance of all major attractions in Old Town. In house restaurant.
Cons: Room internet access. Some rooms are several flights of steps up...no elevator.
Location: Within walking distance of Plaza Grande and the Presidential Palace, Plaza San Francisco and La Compania. La Ronda was just around the corner.
Staff was very helpful and friendly especially Nathalie. Loved the convenience of eating at their rooftop restaurant. We were able to avoid the crowds and enjoy a band competition in Santo Domingo Plaza from the comfort of our table. Lovely views!
