“Sofitel”

Just stayed 4 nights and i will go back there and only there it was the best hotel of my entire trip!

“Good choice - great facilities”

This hotel was wonderful. It doesn't have a "Moroccan feel", rather an international feel. The gardens in the back are beautiful. Compared to other hotels in Morocco, the service was good, but there were still areas to improve, especially at the Spa. The hotel can call a "petit taxi" which may charge an additional 10MAD to come to pick up guests. The most I paid for for getting from the medina was about 20MAD.

Area recommendations

Agdal is about 15 min from the hotel (a very French part of the city). There are nice restaurants and shops in that part of town.

Must see

Rabat is a small, sleepy city, which means that it's a great way to begin to explore Morocco. It's a good buffer for more hectic cities. The main tourist sites are calm and easily accessible.

Dining

The choices are pricey and not that varied. There are several restaurants.
